Vanity Fair Italy (and other Italian press outlets) worked the exclusive first look inside the 2012 Pirelli Calendar. Of course, the content is the beauty of the female form. Mario Sorrenti photographs this year’s models including Kate Moss, Milla Jovovich and Saskia de Brauw (above). Past photographers of the Pirelli calendar include Terry Richardson and Karl Lagerfeld. The business, family run more than six generations, is now under the guiding hand of father and son team, Sean and Kieran Molloy who continue to produce some of the finest tweed around.

How we miss Nick… our old pal may have moved onto bigger and “better” things over at Complex, but we still keep in touch. FrenchTrotters offer up a little look at what’s new for this season and what’s upcoming for next. This still-life lookbook was shot by Nastassia Brückin at the impressive Galerie Patrick Seguin in Paris. Using the backdrop pf the OH! exhibition, showcasing the best in contemporary art, the guys display gingham shirts, crew neck knits, light scarves, florals and some excellent footwear.

Japanese brand Spellbound, straight out of Okayama, bring us this amazing Deck Jacket. Inspired by the USN’s skilled use of denim during world war two, they’ve added a couple of extra details that give this a chore jacket feel alongside its seafaring roots. A neat shawl collar, 4 reinforced pockets, leaf logo donut buttons, 100% cotton, we’re told the denim on this one is exceptional. A joint effort from two of our favourite brands. Grenson, traditional shoe-makers meet Heritage Research, producers of some incredible vintage inspired menswear. This long wing brogue is made to fit slightly slimmer than a traditional model making it that bit easier to wear. It features calf skin leather designed to age with wear and use, waxed leather laces, Goodyear welted soles and a whole lot of expertise from two labels who know what’s up. END has them.
