Omar Kashoura went off schedule for Autumn/Winter 2012. Taking his collection to Kettners in Soho, he presented his Beat Generation inspired menswear with Allen Ginsberg’s ‘Howl’ in mind. Relaxed fit trousers, deconstructed knits, moleskin cottons and subtle prints came together in a laidback line-up.
“The Beat era helped develop the designer’s ideas into a simple, pure and understated look that reflects glimpses of the wearers mind, expressing their thoughts in a non-sensical way. Materials are soft, draped, and elegant and reflect a downtrodden natural worn look and given a subtle edge with graphic patterns”
