Core77 Dutch Master Limited Bicycle

core77-dutch-master-bicycle-1 Core77 Dutch Master Limited Bicycle

ID superstar blog, Core77, drop exciting news regarding their new Dutch Master Limited Bicycle. “The Dutch Master is based on the beloved Worksman cruiser frame—a workhorse foundation used throughout the New York delivery community, and manufactured in Queens, New York for over 110 years. Core77 customized the frame, fitting it out with a carefully curated set of components, each with its own story.” Looks as though most of the bike assembly was done in Brooklyn - from the wheels to the frame. A great looking cruiser.

Brooks Hoxton Wire Basket

brooks-hoxton-wire-basket Brooks Hoxton Wire Basket

Brooks takes their best practice approach to the world of baskets. And why not? After you run the show for generations in the world of leather saddles, you may as well attempt another product or two. Take their Hoxton Wire Basket for instance. Made of a metal structure, wooden base and a leather grip, the Hoxton is a reasonably price extension to your bike which turns it into a commuting dream.

Leatherman Damascus Wave Multi-Tool

leatherman-damascus-wave-00 Leatherman Damascus Wave Multi-Tool

Leatherman gets old school with their Damascus Steel “Wave” Multi-tool. How old? Well, old enough to be used back in 1100’s by Middle Eastern swordmakers who argued that their hot forged style of sword making yielded a stronger and sharper tool when compared to those Euro blades. Leatherman pulls this heavy metal into a 1000 unite run of the Wave by making the durable even more rugged. I have to give Leatherman major props for making the Wave look great in photos. (notcot)

Field Notes in Grass Satin Green

field-notes-in-green Field Notes in Grass Satin Green

I did once say that real men rocked another special French paper company’s ledger, but while I am here in Europe for the next few week, I am carrying around the classic Field Notes 48 Page Memo Book. I do have it customized a bit with a fat Highsnobiety sticker on it in case someone cares to steal my thoughts. Things would of course be a bit cooler if I was rocking the Grass Satin Green Book - which is the third release in their series of seasonal color runs. Pick up your pack soon as only 300 3-packs have been produced. Arguably their best seasonal color yet. Beau’s got some as seen in the photo above.

Randolph Engineering Sunglasses

randolph-eyewear-04 Randolph Engineering Sunglasses

It’s hard to find a classic sunglass line with heritage that has never ceased to produce their eyewear products in the USA. Randolph Engineering is one of the few. Based in Massachusetts (close to my heart), Randolph Engineering began as an actual engineering firm in the early 70’s but really began to get things going in 1982 when the they became a Department of Defense supplier. Since them Randolph Engineering continues to supply air forces in the United States and worldwide with their aviator eyewear. You’ll likely find them today in a variety of shops from the Saks Fifth Ave’s and Steven Alan to high end gaming and fishing shops like Orvis.

Brooks Saddle Company of England has clearly established itself worldwide as one of the finest leather saddle manufacturers. They tend to stay low profile though when it comes to sponsorship, but when they do put their names behind events, it usually comes with some special perks. As part of their celebration of various courier and bicycle polo events worldwide, Brooks has issued a set of limited edition colored saddles for their Swift and Team Pro models in runs of 250 units.

Events in Boston, London, Seattle, Philadelphia, and Berlin are celebrated in blue, mustard, red, and mandarin orange. Simply beautiful. (joshspear)

Hakkin.It Brufus Bag

hakkin-brufus-bag Hakkin.It Brufus Bag

Sometimes trends tend to go in and out of fashion without ever making their way into the mainstream. That’s what happened to tote bags. There’s no shortage of nice ones (we’ve featured more than our fair few) but blog posts about totes have suddenly gained a defensive air about them.

This Hakkin. It bag does one thing that totes can’t - make you look like you mean business. Regardless of where you work, there are times when you need to look like a man on a mission (especially in times like these). This bag provides that. It’s a Japan only piece though, so get your proxy on. (Style Cruise)

filson-field-bag-00 Bread & Butter | Filson Field Bags

The airport housing Bread & Butter Berlin is one of the biggest buildings we have walked through. The show has lined up shuttles, free bikes, and golf carts to help transport people across the show floor. Today we rode ourselves over to the Filson booth. Some standouts included these Filson Field Bags. Boxy in shape but built with the durability we’re used to from Filson, they come in a variety of sizes that are made to fit your travel needs.
