Thirsty for laptops and hastily rolled-up flannels alike the “The best of two worlds” backpack from Stockholm-based buddies Denim Demon and Sandqvist speaks in a classic silhouette brought to life by unwashed denim, canvas, and vegetable tanned leather. The bag is part of a larger collection of the same title that drops later this month. “Both brands represent a classic, timeless fashion that will last, regardless of current trends,” we are told. We hope so. Also worth noting that for each bag sold, 50 kronor goes to the Swedish Society for Nature. You do need nature to get the most out of a backpack.

Started in 2011 by Read Wall, the Read’s Clothing Project works on American made shirts and accessories while being based in Washington D.C. – a perfect location to outfit gents with their wears. Some of the fabrics used on the ties we have seen; others are new to the market. Most important and not to be understated is that R.C.P. donated one book to children for every product sold. We like that.

Very French Gangsters’ photo campaign to bring awareness to their new collection of eyewear for children ages three to ten is excellent. Cute is probably the better word but we’ll avoid in light of the rough side shots. The eyewear itself looks great on the kids. Parents of Lilsnobs will certainly find strong options from this new start-up. Absolutely wonderful gifts for the little people in your lives.

A mystical, magical backpack that reminds us of those airbrushed wolf t-shirts rock dads use to wear. Nowartt, a textile and graphic design company headed up by art director Toyoki Adachi, bring the graphics on this one, 90’s (muted) psychadelia style. Their Scout Series features a “Travel” duffle bag and “Merchant” daypack – both made from heavy duty duck canvas and lined with Wheelmen’s orange denier nylon. Classic looks and easily accessible to all. Works for most. The price point is nice as well.

We’ve mentioned San Francisco’s DSPTCH camera accessories in the past. More London 2012 related products. This time we’re in the trusted hands of Ally Capellino with a product celebrating Olympic boxing. The brand know a thing or two about leather so we’re happy to let them run riot with this huge hide effort. This feels like a grown-up version of those Head holdalls you used to carry way back when, showing the rest of the playground what’s what. Concealed zips, detachable strap, detailing taken from punching bags and boxing gloves. This substantial piece of kit, also known as Harry, will be available July.

Somewhere between a messenger and a weekender comes the latest bag from Switzerland’s QWSTION line. Their Courier Messenger Bag one of the cleanest looks form the maker in some time. The nylon strappings remain as does the brushed grey outer. The win here is on the shape. No dangling straps to hide and conceal. It is an overall clean look that works. Available online.

Italian designer, Federico Batelli, loves denim and bowties. His new Untitled collection of Italian-made ties utilize denim in their production of bowties in various washes and distresses. The bowtie form has been re-worked and imaged many times over, but Mr. Batelli works these washes in a way that should work in the casual sense. We’re looking forward to seeing how these looks will work for you.

This hat is reminding us of the scene in that quintessential ’90s buddy-action movie The Last Boy Scout, where Bruce Willis’ grizzled P.I. grills Damon Wayans’ washed-up quarterback about his $650 leather pants.
