London based Wren Bicycles is set to debut their city-dweller two-wheeler during Clerkenwell Design Week starting May 24. We bring you a quick preview of their three-speed model. Designer, Pete Richardson, looks to bring a compact bicycle to the streets. Everything about the bicycle is kept to the bare minimum: “Matching finish mudguards are included as standard, alongside a sprung leather saddle and natural cork handle grips. This three speed bicycle also discreetly encloses all brake and gear mechanisms to keep maintenance to minimum.”

Paul Smith loves cycling and we love his collaborative cycling projects. The latest looks to be a custom red saddle with blue rails as developed by Japan’s Kashimax. A nice change of pace for someone looking to accent their 2-wheeler.

Boston’s Tannery Wilderness Workshop delivers some classic, New England friendly mocassins that are sure to put us all back… somewhere in time. Best of all, their made in Massachusetts, one of the greatest States in the Union. “The design is based on their Two Eye Tie, which is Arrow’s closest silhouette to a traditional boat shoe, but has been made using the scrap from Oi Polloi’s recent custom dyed make up to achieve a two-tone color scheme.”

The bicycle holster scene is getting crazy on etsy these day. While I am unsure how safe it is to carry a bottle of wine in this manner on your top tube, someone clearly thinks it is cool. “The rack secures tightly to the frame so that the two parts do not separate. I’ve tried it with a bunch of different bottles and it’s nicely flexible.” It fits a 1inch TT. Measure twice.
