We’re not going to spend too much time describing this one. Michel Gondry’s very special version of Taxi Driver in 2.41 minutes starring himself, with a plot revolving around colouring pencils and multicoloured paint. You should probably press play.

Crane tv speaks to British architect David Chipperfield (CBE, RA, RDI, RIBA). Best known for his work on Berlin’s Neues Museum, he currently holds offices in London, Berlin, Shanghai and Milan. “Esteemed British architect David Chipperfield is renowned as one of the country’s most innovative designers. Most recently he worked with the German Embassy on the Hier and There project, and here talks to Crane.tv about his design aesthetic and the importance of one of his most famous structures – the reconstructed Neues Museum in Berlin.”

Some nice video action from Secret Forts, a peek into the world of NY outerwear label Owner Operator. “Launching their second season of classically inspired, mountain ready outerwear, Owner/Operator, the New York based, two man Mountain apparel making team, continues to evolve both technically and design-wise.”  Simple technical-wear with a classic feel made by a couple of snowboarders. Good stuff.

The final installment in Conversations in Modernism, part three sees writer/editor Jason Jules and artist Justin Gibbs sit at a wooden table and thrash out matters of style, art, architecture and the coming and going of trends. Jules edits UK Street Style and contributes to GQ Style. Gibbs creates pieces influenced by modernist structures in both 2 and 3 dimensions. Possibly our favourite of the series, much thoughtful chatter at the press of play.

Continuing on the architecture tip, we turn to another fan of concrete and simple lines, the incredibly talented London architect David Adjaye. OBE no less. Named Designer of the Year at 2011’s Design Miami, he’s worked on numerous projects worldwide including the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington DC, the Nobel Peace Centre in Oslo and homes for the late Alexander McQueen, Jake Chapman, Juergen Teller and Ewan McGregor. Crane TV catches up with him at the Smithsonian in Miami to chat winning awards and sources of inspiration.

The first time I drove by the old air raid shelter in Berlin’s mitte district, I asked David Fischer what the hell it was. He then told me about Mr. Christian Boros, the ad exec and art collector in the city, who purchased the bunker after the fall of The Wall. The massive bunker is now his own private art museum, semi open by appointment. I’ve never been so lucky as to get an inside visit. This video from the great FvF takes care of for us. Possibly their best presentation yet.

Something a bit twisted this holiday season from Anthony Bourdain: the story of Krampus, the whip toting sidekick or Santa… It is a bit dark but viewable enough. If your children were to watch “Krampus Carol,” they would either be scared out of naughty or slightly upset. Heed cation.

Coggles have been snapping the good folk of London for some time now. While street style blogs currently take up *27% of the internet, it’s nice to see a little more in-depth investigation into the more stylish subjects.

With that in mind the store set about picking their favourites for a series of skillfully shot films. We’re introduced to the well dressed Olubiyi, a student at Central St Martins whose work is heavily influenced by his hero Jean-Michel Basquiat. Film director Terry Hall catches the man at work.

*unofficial figures.

Video | Glenn O’Brien Interview

Free Man points us towards this great little interview with the legendary Glenn O’Brien. Apart from it featuring one of the nicest pair saddle shoes we’ve seen in a while, we find out more about his early years playing dress up in Ohio, his decision to drop out of Colombia to work with Warhol and where young folk are going wrong. Lots of close-ups of his impressive garms and even more impressive home, this StyleLikeU film is spot on.

Ben Sherman offer us another video from Conversations in Modernism. This time, face to face are Mercury nominated Ghostpoet and street photographer Matt Stuart. Album ‘Peanut Butter and Melancholy Jam’ brought a new audience to Ghostpoets work, understated rhymes full of humour and tales of the everyday. Matt, a former skateboarder, carries his Leica everywhere in the hope of catching some unguarded London action. The two talk unconventional careers and future plans for this continuing series.
