Japanese designer, Miyuki Minami launched her Itazura line in 2003 after having worked in apparel for years. The name Itazura comes from children’s books. "Itazura swim around freely in the world of adult and the world of children,like Peter and Wendy in Peter Pan,written byBarrie james matthew. It is the world where the adult,who has learned to conceal cleverly,wants to peep in again." Her menswear collection for Fall/Winter 2008 plays on this theme with androgenous looks that fit oversized at times. (via sl)

Denmark’s Rene Gurskov’s Men’s line is cryptic at times in determining what the focus or theme is when reading their press releases. Luckily the clothing tends to hold itself up without need for words or communicae. What we can make out is that the Fall/Winter 2008/2009 collection, "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me." pulls from the Boy George aesthetic of London "finding his way /style… Guys with tattoos and bloody nose."

There is something special and unique about the Our Legacy for Gram Design 378g shoe. Maybe its the use of fabrics against the classic oxford cut of the shoe – white leathers, waxed Millerian (the same supplier for Barbour). Either way this is not a collaboration but more the development of something new. "The idea was to use a typical plimsole shape but instead of doing it as cheap as possible it was decided that this should be conceived without compromise. One single low top style was born, dressed in three different guises." Each shoes comes with a bag, shoe horn, and brush.

When we first showcased the Corto Moltedo Collection for Men, their first collection ever for the other half, we intentionally left out the mens wallets and belts and for good reason. They stand alone amongst the bags and we would hate for them to be lost in the shuffle. Gram Design’s Fall/Winter 2008/09 footwear lineup bring new concepts and further maturity to a footwear line that is quickly becoming a favorite amongst many. The theme for the Fall 2008 collection revolved around the RGB color palette with leathers coated in color and embossments. "The winter of 2008 picks up where the spring collection left off, carrying tricolour combinations into the colder months of the year. Coated cotton in dark shades of red, green and blue come together to create a subtle reference to the classic colour standard RGB. Soft full grain cow leather in dark brown, pitch black and petroleum dove blue acts as the counterweight, effectively broadening the collection and bringing with it elements of rugged elegance and durability."
