Taking IVY is the latest step in Kiel James Patrick’s celebration of all things New England. A new collection of school related bracelets launches this month with Harvard – a series of six pieces that connect to places like Arnold Arboretum and Pennypacker Weld boathouse – setting the scene for nods to Brown, Columbia, Darmouth, and Yale coming in the Autumn. The bracelets mix rich silk ribbon with heavier rope and tweed fabrics.

If bags reminded us of TV shows, this would remind us of Home Improvement. Specifically, Toolman Tim. Besides being a great nickname for the workwear trend (that was formerly a movement before people got bored it) it’s also a great name for this bag. Not we name our bags. That would be weird. Just in from Superfuture is Miharayasuhiro’s collaboration with Hong Kong based store Joyce. It’s a unisex capsule collection but we see no reason why a man couldn’t wear that hat. And for all the women checking here, this will make a great pretend present (you know the drill, pretend to get it for him, then steal it back when he doesn’t wear it).  There’s a pair of flip flops after the leap. For the love of whatever deity you believe in, don’t dare wearing them anywhere but at the beach. The collection isn’t available yet but it’s something to look out for. (Joyce)

We may have ended the great panama hat search 2011™ a little early. We say that because, us being the silly folks we are, forgot to check the house of Drakes. Whilst it’s not as wide brimmed as we’d like, it’s still a very handsome piece of headwear. A worthy contender, if we say so ourselves. (Drakes)

We were lamenting the lack of stylish laptop cases the other day, so it’s only right we showcase them when we see one.
