The Killim Project is A Kind of Guise’s latest venture. The German brand trekked to the middle east two years and bought a shedload of carpets, which must’ve been a nightmare to take back. From this collection they’ve created a small range of 100 bags, which are all handmade in their studio. They’ve even avoided the rope handles often used in duffle bags, so they won’t be digging into your shoulder blades. They’re available at the end of this month so be sure to check their website.

Yeah, yeah, streetwear brand on menswear site and all that. You all know the drill by now – barriers are being broken down and all that jazz. And, if we’re honest, right now the only difference between a menswear outfit and streetwear one is a 5 panel cap and some Visvim trainers. We’re all about multiple gloves this season. No, not wearing gloves on top of one another, we mean having a fair few options. After all, one pair can’t go with everything you wear. Apparently not satisfied with being producers of amazing shoes, Church’s have started adding luxury leather goods to their collection. Made from lizard, they’ve created wallets, key rings, card holders and coin cases in colours ranging from pretty normal to eye poppingly bright. And we really can’t understate just how eye poppingly bright the bright colours are.

Despite their recent penchant for overdoing it on the collaboration front, we still like a bit of Porter. It’s interesting to see what the company do next, especially as for so long their bags we’re used to silently say ’see, I have been to Japan, how else could I get this bag?’ Then again, it might just get like Supreme, gaining new fans whilst turning the old fans into the grumps going on about how they were into it before it got hyped. We only have one requirement for our hats – a hefty brim. The slim brimmed trilby was worn to death by lightweight wannabe rockers, so a change was always gonna come. Here’s an umbrella to match those Clarks*. Like socks and underwear, we find it hard to rant and rave about an umbrella. They’re one of those things you don’t think of if they work correctly – we’ve never heard anyone say ‘wow, these umbrella’s really keeping me dry’. So we’re just going to admit that we like this umbrella because of the orange colour. And it also doesn’t look too big, which is nice. We have a sudden urge to buy more pencils. And before anyone asks, yes we are that fickle. Make an attractive holder of anything and we’ll go and buy more of that item purely to have the holder.
