The Boardroom at the Ace Hotel, New York City, will host fittings by East Williamsburg’s Martin Greenfield, who GQ has called “America’s Greatest Living Tailor.” Why a fitting service at the Ace Hotel? In their words: “We are inspired to offer our guests and friends to experience a fitting with this classic menswear icon in the convivial atmosphere of The Boardroom at Ace New York. It’s a tailor fitting, but it’s also an experience that embodies our passion for dressing well, and for meticulous attention to detail — just one of many traits that comprise Mr. Greenfield’s legend.” The Greenfield Fitting Service will run at the Ace Hotel New York from February 10 – 12, by appointment.

Ace Hotel plough on with more top collaborations. A letterman jacket made by those who know, Washington’s Centralia Knitting Mills. Purveyors of fine sporting goods since 1939 – don’t challenge them to a pop quiz on campus goods, they boss these matters.

Brooklyn’s Horse Cycles supplies ACE Hotel New York with a fleet of bicycles available on loan for guests as well as purchase. The steel bicycles are made for those looking to pound through New York streets – handy if you hate cabbing it or using the subway. Horse Cycle’s Thomas Callahan put the fleet together for the ACE. The sturdy canvas bag features three internal card pockets, a full sized zipper and room to stuff in the powders, shavers and toothpaste for your next jaunt through the minefields of travel. A selection of American made goods form  Ace hotel’s continued collaboration with Beams Japan. Luggage tag, bracelet and passport wallet are hand sewn from bridle leather by a master saddle maker and are branded with “affirmations that celebrate the itinerant spirit: “All of life is a foreign country” and “A rising tide lifts all boats,” respectively.” Simple pieces designed to mature with age. The ACE Hotel group stays on point with their latest collaborative effort with Horse Cycles. The bicycles will be available soon. We’ll share more as we get it…

With a boxing theme, the ACE Hotel and Wings + Horns deliver a new capsule collection for BEAMS in Japan. The collection consists of new and previously worked items from the ACE and W+H including their boxing robe, hooded sweatshirt, and some wonderful sweat pants to round it all out.

The collection is available exclusively at Beams Gallery in Japan, Ace Hotel New York, Roden Gray in Vancouver, Colette in Paris and online at shop.acehotel.com.

ACE is non-stop on the product front. The latest comes in the form of a bag accessories line from Incase. The collection uses Martexin Original Wax textiles to give them a distressed look of age. Choose from the Macbook case, duffle, and travel bag. There’s an iPhone case in there as well. Oversized zippers make the in and out easy. “Orange in the interior complement a look reminiscent of the classic MA-1 military-issue bomber jacket.”
