Kimmel worked with Jim Krantz, the Marlboro campaign’s original photographer, on the look book, featuring real-live modern cowboys, and video artist Meredith Danluck shot the making-of on the original Marlboro ranch with bull-riding champion Rocky McDonald.”

The Adam Kimmel Autumn/Winter 2009 Footwear has arrived in stores. No big experiments from the New York designer, but two very solid shoes for the colder season. He presents brown suede boots, with the silhouette being similar to the 6 inch Timberland boot. Furthermore he presents brown suede shoes with a wing top inspiration. Just like the rest of his collection, the footwear is casual, easy to wear, yet very high in quality.

The first thing that pops into our heads when wallabees are mentioned is the intro to Raekwon’s ‘Glaciers of Ice‘, when Ghostface talks about dip dying his clarks. The second thing is that these Adam Kimmel wallabees manage to make a wallabee/espadrille combo look clean and crispy. Essentially, these are wallabees made using the material that would be used in espadrille and they look all the better for it.

The Adam Kimmel lookbook for Spring/Summer 2009 shows no signs real signs of re-invention of the classics. It is a collection that offers traditional looks without attempting to readjust the silhouette. The styles are themselves classic and seem to furnish and dress the “everyman.” Mixed aged models are used to highlight looks with includes proper slacks and long coats, showing the broad maturity of the Adam Kimmel look.

Adam Kimmel described his Fall 2007 collection as "More constructed, more complicated, more modernized." We think the same holds true for their fall/winter 2008 collection which mixes the classic autumn looks with Italian themes in construction and form.
