Coming this Februrary 2012 from agnes b. is their new sneaker collaboration with the classic Asian line, Feiyue. As Highsnob reports, the sneakers will retail for $66 and come in a mix of canvas and suede uppers against two colorways. Look for them stateside at agnes b in early 2012.

Here’s an exclusive first look at the agnès b. Homme Autumn/Winter 2011 “capsule” collection for Barneys. Available in stores now, the “capsule” collection contains styles and looks encompass the agnes b. look: perfect white shirts, skinny leather jackets, suits, leather ties, and much more. Barney’s Tim Kalenderian explains that the collection was formulated to “appeal to the needs of our clients that have enough casual weekend sportswear and are seeking something a bit more sleek for the city.” We approve.

The new agnes b store is a “galerie boutique” on Howard Street in New York City brings together (for the  first time) Agnès love of contemporary art as well as her retail. She has long been a strong supporter of the arts. Agnès also runs  ”Galerie du Jour Paris and has been a supporter and collector of artists for many decades.  The 3000 foot flagship store [on Howard Street] is located on in a beautifully restored 1863 landmark building and Agnès design concept blends historic architectural details with a fresh contemporary aesthetic.”

To celebrate her new flagship, “Agnès has asked many friends and artists to create a design for her ongoing Artist T-Shirt line.
Harmony Korine, Ryan McGinness, Jose Parla, Bast, Ryan McGinley and Jonas Mekas are just some of the artists who have contributed.”

“The agnès b. for Opening Ceremony range is a selection of iconic clothing items and accessories from the agnès b. archives, that have been given an Opening Ceremony twist. The collection will debut at agnès b. stores in New York and Paris and Opening Ceremony NY and LA stores, on Friday, September 10, 2010, to coincide with Vogue’s “Fashion’s Night Out” (FNO) initiative.” It will also debut at Opening Ceremony’s French-themed flea market staged in the lobby of the Ace Hotel during FNO.

She has dressed many generations and types of men over the past decades, and her aesthetics looked as fresh as ever. Her clothes are always smart, uncomplicated and reliable wardrobe staples. I loved the fact that she used models from different age groups, demonstrating the broad appeal of her pieces. My personal favourites were the fringed leather jacket and lilac suit.”

agnès b.’s in house publication Point d’ironie continues to showcase the best artists from a variety of creative disciplines.  As we have mentioned previously, Printed in large format, Point d’ironie is published six times per year and distributed through agnès b. stores worldwide. It is half magazine and half poster form. McGinley’s photograpy work is the focus of issue #49 which feature a mix of old and new photography placed on the page to represent how they would be seen in a gallery setting.
