We’ve shown the front cover, now here’s some spreads. If you don’t know by now, Apartamento mixes architecture, home interiors and a sprinkling of food articles, it’s one of our favourite magazines at the moment. If you’re still on the fence about it, take a leap to see more. And if you’re still not convinced we don’t know what to tell you.

One of our favorite magazines has just released images of their lastest issue. Interior design magazine, Apartamento Issue 8 has Marcelo Krasilcic, Beda Achermann and Michael Stipe (who’s really getting around lately) amongst others. Only the cover is out right now but we will be sure to show some spreads when they surface.

Here’s a preview of Apartamento Issue #6. The interiors magazine is one of the best reads on the market today. We love the format as well. What’s inside? “Featuring: Carl Johan De Geer, Paz de la Huerta, Leon Ransmeier, 6a Architects, Anders Edström, Ramdane and Victorie Touhami, Felisa Pinto, Herrenstein, Gosha Rubchinskiy, Paul Schiek, Coming to a boil, Outdoor living and cactus misfits, Les Nouïes, Island of calvary, Leopoldo Pomés, Today’s home, Charlie Koolhaas…” (fy)

One of our favourite magazines, Apartamento, just released preview images of their upcoming issue. There’s no shortage of beautiful independent magazines coming out right now, but Apartamento’s writing style is chatty and down to earth – the opposite of these boringly stoic magazines doing the rounds. We haven’t got our hands on it so we can’t tell you about the articles yet, but we can say that it’ll look as good as ever. (Bruil)

We’ve always admired Apartamento’s events and their next venture, in collaboration with DesignMarketo, looks set to continue that trend. This time they’re making a ‘half pop up store, half cooking workshop’ that’ll sell design objects and host daily workshops.
The project, which launches on April 13th, is to celebrate the arrival of Apartamento’s fifth issue. So if you’re in Milan and would like to attend a free cooking workshop, take note of the dates over at the FoodMarketo page – be sure to get there early. (FoodMarketo)

We love it when one of our favourite stores stock our favourite items. High Snob columnists Azita have SL favourite, Apartamento, in stock now. We’ve said all we need to say about Apartamento – it’s one of the best yet (© Gangstarr) – it’s always nice to highlight that it’s available for purchase at an online outlet. Consider this pennance for all those Japanese product posts we do. (Azita)

London Design week usually means a slew of special events popping up all over town and this one is no different. One of our favourite magazines, Apartamento, are hosting an exhibition in London next week. They’ve joined forces with Richard Lamb, a hobbyist pottery collector, to display his personal collection of pottery and ceramics. Lamb has been collecting pieces found from thrift stores, car boot sales and antique markets for 15 years, building up a formidable collection. You can buy pieces if you like, although there’s no word on pricing (read: too expensive if you need to ask). The exhibition runs from 11am-6pm from the 21st to the 27th of September. 1-5 Exhibition Road, South Kensington, SW7 2HE.
