From the department of Really? come these Post-Poo Drops, the second offering from A.P.C.’s collaboration with Aesop. They are indeed drops of scented liquid that you can dribble into a toilet bowl in a vain effort to mask your utter humanity, or as they put it: “a delightful bathroom deodorizer best suited for use by those who eat, drink and digest daily.”

It can make for one hell of a red-faced moment stink-bombing a bathroom at a party or an amour’s house, but it might be even more embarrassing if this bottle rolled out of your pocket. Our response to that situation would likely not differ much from our response to getting caught post-gnarly drop: “Yeah, I shit hard.”

Spring/Summer weather can be a bit unpredictable as some of you may be experiencing right now (Londoners, you hear me). While it’d be nice to be able to leave the house in a tee without a care in the world, it’s wise to think ahead and keep something relative lightweight and roll-up friendly on your person. We’ve thrown together a few options to help in the search. A selection that shouldn’t kick off a sweat but might offer some protection if it all goes pear shaped weather-wise.

Italian eyewear specialists L.G.R (Luca Gnecchi Ruscone) have collaborated with A.P.C. on a pair of key-hole bridge sunglasses. A unisex style, all L.G.R products are handmade in Italy from cellulose acetate, a material pliable enough to be moulded without the use of further heating. Everything is hand polished, no paint or solvents and all lenses are anti reflex coated and 100% UV protected. Two colourways, Black with green tinted lenses and brown with photochromic lenses. Available in May.

Tartan and Tweeds enter the A.P.C. mix for their Autumn/Winter 2012 collection. While overall the collection remains in the direction of past season, slight upgrades in the collection can be seen as safe and conservative plays for the French line. They are well priced on the marker and offer a compelling play for those with tight wallets.

The bikini geniuses at Tooshie work over a capsule collection of swimwear for the A.P.C. collection. Women’s bikinis clearly make up the majority of the capsule collection, but the men’s swim trunks and shorts make a showing as well. Get on down with the 70s style banana hammock or the casual but fitting short trunks. You choose. No peeking.

END celebrates the arrival of A.P.C. Spring Summer 2012 with some nicely shot images of the garms in action. While those looking for the label to rock the boat might be disappointed, fans of its consistent, simple, uncomplicated approach will be pleased with what’s on offer.

Camo pops up again with lots of military influences throughout and as always some nice and easy outerwear and accessories.

Highsnobiety tips us off to the new pre-Spring 2012 collection from France’s A.P.C. collection. “A nice bridge in between the Winter and Summer seasons, they offer a solid range of easy to wear goods. Included in the capsule collection are slip-on shoes, mid top boots, a solid bomber jacket, some nice knitwear, shirting, t-shirts, sweatshirts, bags and belts, and of course some nice denim.” “Work them.”

The Semiologie by A.P.C. project takes a more commercial turn on the quilt game established by Jean Touitou & Jessica Ogden for the French line, made special for the Anthropologie shop chains. A variety of quilts are available under the Semiologie moniker. Find them now at Anthropologie.
