April77 delivers their Autumn/Winter 2011 collection with fits and looks that pay homage to the 90’s silhouettes. Folk band Herman Dune work over the Dad Chinos from April77 in two new colorways in celebration of the release of their LP, “Strange Moosic.” The chinos come in either sun safari or brick red. A few features made them unique including the guitar pick pocket on the hip. A matching t-shirt celebrating the release is also available.

Here are two quick looks from the forthcoming April77 Spring/Summer 2011 video featuring Jethro Cave and Sophie Willing.  While we (and others) have had a virtual screening online, the film is set to drop publicly sometime in December. We’ll be sure to share it with you all.

April77 hit the Japan looms for three button-up shirts for your wearing pleasure. The “Thrill,” “Hickory,” and “Saddle” shirts are all loomed from Japanese cotton and come in a variety of styles from double weave check to red selvedge hickory. All three look great and feature a distinctive cut appropriate for most men.

Stay warm in this loden wool blanket from April77 for Autumn/Winter 2009. Used in traditional Austrian clothing, Loden sheep’s wool is water resistant and great for laying down on a damp grass knoll. This blanket is part of April77’s “Collections” line and should be available shorty. Look for it in finer shops globally.

April77 is ready to release some more “creulty free” footwear (we previewed their cowboy boot in the past). Take a look at their new collection of buck shoes which are free of leathers and other animal parts (the designer Brice is a Vegan). They are simple and look like common bucks, but for the consumer who is concerned with remaining animal safe, April77’s Buck shoes are a great alternative. And to top it off, the inside heel of each shoe is gold stamped with ”Real Men Don’t Wear Leather.”  Try telling that to one of the bears standing outside your local biker bar. Here’s a quick preview at the Spring 2010 April77 Records collection which revolves around four themes that sway from punk/rock roots, worker movements, to the prep of the Hamptons. “Although there are four main themes, the collection brings together a underline cohesiveness of edgy fashion meets french design made so popular by April77.” Expect denim, oiled cottons, slim trench coats and more. The trippy imagery of the previews works very well in low light with some dubstep.
