Rizk Auto of Phoenix Arizona takes reproduction automobiles to new heights with their take on the classic 1957 Aston Martin DBR2 Racer. Autoblog has all the details. “The RA DBR2 is built around a state-of-the-art carbon-fiber tub and aluminum honeycomb monocoque chassis that weighs a feather-like 100 kgs (220 lbs), overlaid with carbon-fiber body panels lined with Nomex. Sound space-age enough for a classic roadster? How about some Aerogel, a NASA-developed heat insulator being used in a roadgoing automobile for the first time.”

Coming later this year is the Aston Martin One-77 automobile. As Luxist describes it “the new One-77 model … will feature a hand-built 7.0-liter V12 engine, an aluminum and carbon fiber chassis, a top speed of 200+ mph, and a 0-60mph time of about 3.5 secs.” More importantly only 77 One-77’s will be made in production; each to be customized but the individual buyer. At 1.8 million $US, we would hope we could at least choose one cupholder over two.

Wallpaper Magazine describes Britian’s Hackett best. "With 25 years of evolutionary rather than revolutionary male clothing and accessories under their belt, Hackett has carved itself a considerable niche in the menswear market as a timeless, British brand. What this means to us is three solid products from Hackett – a silver Toast Rack, a tweed jacket produced by Scotland’s Lovat Mill, and a great green racing helmet for Aston Martin.
