It’s rare we get sent a worthy new collection from our inbox, but Braille is one collection that we felt good enough to share with you fine folks. What struck us about this collection is that although it’s wearable and masculine in that near-meaningless manner, it’s gone down a different route to the ‘going to the woods in my Junya’ look that’s permeated the menswear world over the last few months. And it’s all the better for it.

A comprehensive selection of trousers from Farah Vintage for Autumn/Winter 2010 follows on the brands historically popular pants. The “Mills” flat front hopsack and “Walker” flat front chino are both past favorites. They are offered alongside new introductions, a slim fit engineered worker trouser and a fibre dyed 5-pocket trouser, a reissue of an 80s piece.

SNS Herning are a consistent favourite here at SL, so it’s only right that we focus on our favourite pieces from their AW10 collection. Some of these pieces have ‘dropped’ already (we still don’t feel right saying dropped) and some are still to come, but the general feel is that it’s the same ol’ SNS goodness we’ve always liked. This is one of those Wiley-esque ‘Wot do you call it’ pieces. Sure, it’s officially called a button-down, but it’s more of an overshirt/light jacket. Whatever you wanna call it, it’ll look great on and the navy colourway will please the bright-colour-phobics (do you call that brightophobia?) out there. It’s not a world changing piece (and that’s just a phrase for any slow readers out there, we don’t actually think clothes can change the world) but it’s a solid wardrobe addition. (Opening Ceremony)

With his recent appointment as Design Director for Gianni Versace Menswear (he just completed his first collection at the company), it’s fair to say that Martyn Bal has gone from strength to strength in the last few years. The collection’s strength has always been their outerwear and, as you can see from the pictures above, that’s set to continue with this collection. The press release states that the campaign images showcase ‘the duality of the Martyn Bal man’ – they also show any girlfriends that this collection is the perfect pretend gift for your other half.

Australian label Vanishing Elephant have just sent over images of the AW10 lookbook and, us being the generous folks we are, have decided to share them with you all. It’s not a game changer of a label – and we mean that in the nicest possible manner – but there’s at least three pieces for just about every guy out there. The collection will be dropped at around mid august/late september, so keep an eye out for it.

Always guaranteed to blow up the interwebz, here’s a look at something you’ll be seeing a lot more of as the week goes on. Band Of Outsiders have just released their latest look book and this time it stars new Spiderman (and to the UK readers, the star of Red Riding and Boy A) Andrew Garfield. We’re sure you know the story by now – done on polaroid, shot by Scott himself, blah blah – so we’re just gonna let you marvel at the shots, which are after the leap.

They spend most of their day as a womenswear label, but Zero + Maria Cornejo have been doing the odd menswear piece for a few seasons now. The latest addition is this small collection of shoes, made with George Esquivel. These are what some folks (i.e. us) would call handsome. No words on the pricing or availability yet, but we’ll let you know as soon as we do.

Yes, that title is correct. Sandqvist show their collections a season behind everyone else, so they were showing off their AW10 collection at this SS11 show. Got that? good. There’s a bag for every occasion in this collection, with totes, backpacks and weekend bags all making an appearance.
