Our big brother site showcased Soulland’s presentation a few days ago, but here’s a closer look at a couple of pieces from the collection. Carrying on from their SS11 collection, they’re focusing on the smaller details, be it a shirt collar or the cuffing on a varsity jacket.

Selectism - sns-herning-autumn-2011-08

Here’s a preview look at SNS Herning’s upcoming collection (Dag is modelling a new one in the above shot, where we’ve unfairly cut his head off the shot). Showing in a separate showroom, away from the hustle and bustle of Paris during fashion week. They’ve introduced some new colourways (you’ll be able to spot them if you look hard enough) and added some intricate patterns to show off their skills with the needle.

More shots are after the leap.

Selectism - jil-sander-autumn-2011-01

It’s showtime and here’s a small look at some of these shows we’ve liked. The Jil Sander show was one of our favourites and these looks showcase why. We know it’s deeply fashionable to not care about fashion but we’ve always been about the ‘everything in moderation’ policy when it comes to the different sectors of menswear. (Style.com)

selectism - Denim Demon Autumn/Winter 2011

More Autumn/Winter previews for you today.

Sweden’s Denim Demon continues to push Sami inspired workwear with an ever expanding line of denim, shirts, and sweaters. For 2011 they’ve brought in Swedish hip-hop legend Petter (we’ve been fans since the late 90s) as the face of Denim Demon and sourced from Cone Mills. The lookbook was shot by Jens Andersson.

Check out all the Denim Demon Autumn/Winter 2011 looks after the leap.

Soulland ‘Civilized’ Autumn/Winter 2011

Selectism - soulland-autumn-2011-01

Here’s another label we’ve been liking. Soulland just released their latest lookbook and, despite the fact that these will be all over the internet in the next few hours, we had to put these up. They’ve been especially busy lately, launching a store in Copenhagen. Taking influence from the American civil war, specifically the uniforms the soldiers wore and added it to their collection. At this point in time, it’s nice to see an Americana influence in a collection that doesn’t end up being a torrent of dullness.

Take a look at more of the collection after the leap.
