Check prints are over. That’s the main thing that can be taken from B Store’s AW09 collection, which was shown yesterday at London fashion week’s MAN day. The collection had a distinctly Parisian vibe, with polka dots and stripes being the patterns of choice. Some of the nicer touches included a plain shirt with polka dot collars and cuffs, a wide roll neck jumper and an abundance of cropped trousers. Take a look at more of the collection after the jump.

B Store London is extending their house brand beyond footwear this coming Spring with a shot at menswear. For Spring 2009, the B Store menswear collection includes a variety of pieces from tops to bottoms. Fashionisto seems interested in the what’s happening below the waist. “he first pair as featured in the first picture have a wide silhouette with pleats that taper down, while the second pair feature are somewhere in the middle with a structured foot.  Be sure to keep this countryside inspired collection in mind for your personal spring lookbook.”

If there’s one thing you can rely on B Store for, it’s shoes. These are leather shoes, although you’d be forgiven for thinking these were suede if you saw them from a distance. There’s nothing crazy about these shoes, so they’re much better suited for finishing off an outfit rather than making it a focus point. As we’ve said before, muted grey is a great colour as although it’s seasonally in trend now, it won’t look like you’ve lost your senses if you wear it a few years down the line. Get it at B Store.

Our apologies for being late to the party on this collection – it was lost in a sea of women’s wear at London Fashion week. Known as one of the only stores in the UK where you can buy interesting design at relatively affordable prices, B Store have carved out quite a niche for themselves. As well as their store supporting up and coming designers such as Ute Ploier, they’ve also had their own B Clothing line. The SS09 collection is heavy on gingham patterns and double breasted shirts, as well as adding a few quirks to suits and jackets.
