H by Harris launched the way most collections do these days – under a tidal wave of blog love. Thankfully, they’ve also found their way into a store that sells their wares online (so that’s DSM out of the equation). You should know the drill by now with H by Harris; clean lines, simple design, quilted leather – the whole shebang. It’s not cheap, but what did you expect? (Browns)

Call this nylon gone right. After APC’s horrible nylon backpack (if you bought it for £10, you’d expect £9.99 back) we were a little reticent after we heard about Brown’s own line version. We traipsed down to the store, gave it the once over and we can officially say it’s pretty good. Pretty, pretty good. We still prefer the COS bag, but if you were dying for a nylon backpack, you could do a lot worse. (Browns)

If it’s raining where you reside, then you’ll quickly have realised how ill-equipped totes are to dealing with this kind of weather. They’re great for those sunny days when you can walk about town and pretend to be a model for Monocle; not so great for those days with random downpours.

While we like a good tote bag, we love a good backpack. So we couldn’t wait to feature this Ally Capellino ‘Frank’ backpack. We could list all the reasons why we love this bag, but we’ll keep it down to two essential ones.

Natalia Brilli loved to wrap everything in leather. You name it. Drumkits? Check. Amps? Check. Now they have moved onto a new skateboard deck and matching back back that are given the lambskin treatment. Unlike all the other items, the skateboard deck will probably get destroyed when used and we all know you want to skate in a Natalia Brilli deck.  (studiohomme)

The outdoors wear movement continue to push itself as an interesting niche in the urban world. This canoe backpack from Los Angeles’ McGarry’s is boxy in form and made to lay flat on the back and when tucked into the corners of your canoe or boat. We first spotted the Union backpack during MAGIC in Las Vegas this month. Its was late in the evening nearto closing time and no one occupied the Porter booth. So we looked around and found this banger of a tote/backpack combo. Opening Ceremony has now taken stock of them which makes our purchasing that muc easier.

Jansport Heritage drops this vintage 767 Burhorn Backpack based on the original 1980’s design. The backpack includes a seatbelt webbing strap that allows for it to be convertible as a backpack, messenger or shoulder tote. A great winter look in the deep brown. Find it now at Urban Outfitters. The Purple Label arm of North Face is considered by many as some of the most exclusive North Face product on the marker. At times, the line is very difficult to find outside of Japan (though a grey market exists for Purple Label goods internationally).
