Mismo Nylon Shopper Bag

26 September 2011, 11.30 | Posted in Accessories | No comments »

Selectism - mismo-shopper-bag-01

Mismo back! Using new materials is always a risky move, especially when it’s one with a reputation as bad as nylon. If you can move past your childhood memories of wearing awful nylon streetwear (that might just be our childhood memories) then the usage of nylon is quite refreshing. The fact that it’s an upgraded version of a Mismo mainstay doesn’t hurt either, that shoulder strap will save us whenever we meet someone who insists on hugging it out. (Tres Bien)

Trémoulière Zooey Bag

Selectism - Trémoulière-duffel-bag-01

We have an odd obsession with duffel bags. They’re useless for carrying heavy loads (unless you’re a fan of rope shaped imprints on your shoulders) but we still love ‘em the same. They’re basically the male it-bag – big and impractical. But they do look cool. And that’s all that matters. (Studio Homme)

haerfest bags joo brothers 1 Haerfest Bags

A new collection from NYC from the Joo brothers. Here’s a look at the Haerfest bags. Their words:”With a singleness of purpose and a strive for the same level of excellence Tim and Dan knew it was time to take the gamble and go it alone. They both left the comfort of a steady pay check to whole-heartedly build something they could truly believe in. Beginning with a series of modest bags they plan to share their ideas and passion with the world.” Worth a look.

Bill Amberg Hunter Backpack

Bill Amberg Hunter Backpack

As much as we like to obsess about the details the fact that this superb backpack by Bill Amberg is Made in England with vegetable tanned leather, English brass buckles and 100% cotton drill lining doesn’t matter very much when we look at these shots. It’s just very, very goodlooking. Distractingly so in fact. Black, Brown or Tan, we’d be happy with whichever.
