Balmian presents some low fi looks at their forthcoming Autumn/Winter 2010 collection. We’re sure that the higher res will pop online soon after this. At that point, we’ll be refiling this piece with some better imagery. Seeing as the line is completely killing it globally. A quick sampling of the Spring collection at Riccardi Boston shows that most of the men’s goods are gone while the women’s line is still in supply. Autumn/Winter should not slow them down one bit.

Oliver Peoples drops some looks at their forthcoming collaborative effort with the very in the now, Balmain line. “Consistent with the Balmain’s 2010 collections, the two unisex sunglass styles are bold statements with sleek and modern design elements. Both styles feature a straight, fluid top bar, teardrop lens shapes, and a slightly wrapped form. The Balmain 1 is a rock-inspired mixed media frame that utilizes an acetate frame front and smooth metal top bar. This style will be available in two color ways – all black and a black and silver combination. The Balmain 2 is a fresh interpretation of the classic double bridge aviator.”

The first deliveries from the Balmain men’s collection for Spring are beginning to pop into shops. This shirt is a standout from the first run. Officer details are placed well on the garment from shoulder to chest. Starting price? Around 698$US at Riccardi.

Designer, Christophe Decarnin, continues to output a good selection of men’s looks with Balmain’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection. The looks pull from a variety of inspirations including classic looks from varsity crew, to airforce ready leather jackets and utility shirts.

LOVE Magazine’s blog brings us some photos and images of the Autumn/Winter 2009 Balmain collection. Founded by Pierre Balmain, the French fashion house styles their looks to showcase outerwear including a shearling lined leather parka, and fitted motorcycle jackets. But do me a favor and keep the shirts on the model.
