ACL is getting much love on SL this week. Their content heavy looks just keep on pouring in. IN the last couple of days, ACL has featured looks into Japan’s BEAM line by showcasing lookbook shots from their current Autumn 2010 offering. I have a fishy feeling we’ll be seeing BEAMS in the domestic U.S.A. soon, especially with the influx of other Japan “flagship” giants in NYC.

ACL gets their hands on the latest catalog of goods from BEAMS for men. “The Beams catalog magically appeared in my office yesterday and I couldn’t help but to scan so you guys can see what the well dressed 2% is up to this fall… Good luck trying to pull off a safari jacket in the United States, but it is fun to look at nonetheless.”

The Cavaliers may [removed], but at least Cleveland’s native son, MW, is a respectable gentleman. His ACL project brings us some looks from BEAMS Japan’s Spring/Summer 2009 Catalog of Collaborations. Its not actually called “Catalog of Collaborations” but it may as well be. BEAMS knows how to convince the likes of Dickies, and Champion to produce quality wears for the Japan market giving these brands considerably higher gain than they would receive in the USA.

After recently working on the 6Inch Boots, Alden and Japanese retailer Beams once again get together. This time they produced a collaborative Plain Toe Oxford, a true classic. The leather shoe comes in a burgundy colorway and is now available at Beams Plus.

BEAMS Japan seems to just get it right with almost every collaborative effort they enter into. Their latest with outerwear company, Moncler, brings forth some excellent looks for the men’s market. The Moncler Everest Jacket comes lined on the exterior with wool while the Himalaya jacket is the staple shiny nylon outer. The best part is that both come in black… more like black black. BEAMS gets right to the point with these Moncler looks.

Beams+ drops some great zip-up wallets for Fall 2008.  What makes them great is the built in second zipper pocket which you can throw loose change or hide those secret business card numbers away in. Classic American brand McGregor made a capsule collection for Japan’s Beams+, the American Lifestyle Stores of fashion store group Beams.

In the collection you find a series of jackets, coats and blazers, all being based on McGregor classics. Our favorite piece is the above tartan blazers, which will be just perfect for the Fall.

Last week we presented you already a wallet out of the Ortega x Beams x Porter collection. Today we show you the other pieces of the collection, which also consists of pouches and a messenger bag.
