Here’s one for the folks with a few spare coins in their pocket. Belstaff have released this backpack, which is suitable vintage looking but without the obvious drawbacks (wear and tear, that smell) that real vintage pieces have. While we do like this piece, part of us will always find it a little silly to spend so much money on a piece that looks so beaten up, but if you can’t be bothered to wear down your pieces yourself, this is a great alternative. You are looking at a reversible burnt green Belstaff jacket. I am not convinced on the shiny green exterior but because I love the interior detailing on the reverse side, I’ll share it with you. What you can be guaranteed of is that it’s Belstaff quality. What I cannot guarantee is that the green will camo you (or your stash) in the grassy field of the next big festival you attend. Yes. Call it how how you see them. Belstaff kicks out two great leather and canvas man bags on ssense. The “Burnt Brown Leather Bag” is a rectangular shaped messenger with front snap pockets and adjustable leather strap while the canvas does it the same with the addition of a flap cover and leather strapping for closure.

This replica Che Guevara jacket is making the rounds online and for very good reason. Belstaff, who reproduced this jacket using their original 1950’s pattern, is a cotton coated motorcycle jacket, with four pockets and belt. This is of course the Belstaff jacket that Che used when riding on his legendary Latin American journeys. Available now from Oi Polloi.

Belstaff, famous of producing some of the first waterproof  “wax jackets” in the late 1920’s is now setting its eyes on the Oscars.

Collaborating with stylists and movie houses for features films is not something new, but at this year’s 80th Academy awards, Belstaff is all over the nomination block.
