Tim Hamilton for Bergdorf Goodman Spring/Summer 2011

Tim Hamilton takes his sportswear to Bergdorf Goodman for this capsule collection occupying their 3rd floor. The highly casual fashions offer some downtime looks for the busy guy. “The capsule consists of Hamilton standards like the hoodie, the polo, the thermal sweater, and the cardigan, everyday iconic staples made fresh by the designer’s rigorous eye for design and construction. The result is not just your new sweater, blazer, or pant—it’s your new favorite piece that stands the test of time in style and longevity.”

Nixon for Bergdorf Goodman Mellor Watch

In the unexpected of collaborations file: Nixon works over a special watch for – get ready – Bergdorf Goodman. I for one am pleasantly surprised at the final product. In fact, this one is a win for both the brand and the retailer. “Nixon and legendary New York retailer, Bergdorf Goodman, have joined forces to release a highly limited edition timepiece on-sale now. The Nixon x Bergdorf Goodman Mellor is available in either all black or brown/gunmetal and features a Swiss automatic movement with 25 jewels, a domed sapphire crystal, a genuine croc band and a custom-engraved caseback. The Nixon x Bergdorf Goodman Mellor retails for $995 USD and is only available at Bergdorf Goodman in New York City.”

Welcome to Selectism, Nixon.

Selectism - Linda Farrow's Project Sunglasses Line

Available now at Bergdorf Goodman comes this new collection of sunglasses from Linda Farrow simply known as the Projects Line. As men.style puts it, "The series includes designs by Croatian-born designer Damir Doma and Seoul’s Juun J, in addition to more familiar names like Bernhard Willhelm and Tim Hamilton. The last one’s frames come in two different bridge designs (both pictured) and three colorways (black, tortoise shell, and our favorite, blue)."

Selectism - Bergdorf Debuts Tom Ford Shop

DNR reports "Bergdorf Goodman Men last week unveiled a 1,600-square-foot, four-chamber Tom Ford shop that is the largest shop-in-shop in the store’s history. The space is an articulated expression of the Tom Ford concept, aesthetically similar to the designer’s Madison Avenue flagship, and the latest step in the global rollout of the brand, which launched men’s wear only 14 months ago."
