Blanc & Noir manufactures exclusively in Canada, using mainly Japanese and organic fabrics. The aesthetic draws from the time tested – military and utility clothing – and streamlined for a contemporary look and feel. To introduce the Spring/Summer 2011 collection Blanc & Noirs technical designer, Lars Mckinnon, breaks down his three favorite pieces.
He says of their French Terry Jacket, pictured above, “It looks like an MA-1 with articulated sleeves that make the jacket fit like a glove. Organic cotton.”
