bless shop relocated into the third floor of a residential building and re-emerged into a “home” concept in Berlin’s Prenzlauer Berg hood. One of the interesting plays in the new bless home is the rotating artists that house the space. The latest, “Mira Schröder, a German exhibition design + curatorial practice graduate and brand collaborator” has “reset” the shop’s look and feel. A look at BLESS’ Spring/Summer 2011 collection.

For us, fashion can be described by one phrase – ‘never say never’. We’d thought we’d never wear corduroy – we we wrong. We thought we’d given up on backpacks – we were wrong. We thought we’d never see a wearable dip dye mac – we were kinda wrong. We haven’t seen many dip-dye macs in our time, but this has to be top of the (very short) list. In fact, we’d recommend wearing this piece with some tan cords and a good looking backpack. Just remember to say never to bumbags. (Ashtray)

German based label, Bless, describes their denim jackets as "the re-interpreted urban cloakroom." By mixing a hooded embroideries onto the top of and shoulders of the denim, the jacket has an overall feel of the classic hoody/denim wear as worn by city dwellers for decades. The arrangement may not be unique but the build and structure of the Bless jacket keeps this piece fresh and modern. Available not at Colette.

The Bless No. 34 sunglasses have arrived at SlamJam. As usual the brand presents something special, which is not only reflected on the sunglasses, but also the packaging. A nice split black/silver frame and minimal branding make these glasses stand out.
