Solid players from the Givenchy line. Their capsule boot take the form of a patent leather hiker-like boot with a chunky sole. The mid-top boot looks like a strong contender in the men’s boot market for Autumn 2011. Ssense has them.

Tretorn delivers their Walden boot for Autumn 2011. The transitional shoe is a good bounce between the summer and autumn with a clean leather upper finished with suede trim. Add in some speed lacing details and this no-hassle look should do you all well.

Canada’s Viberg works a special edition boot for Japan’s Iron Heart company. One of my favorite rugged real street/moto brands from Japan, Iron Heart gives it the full treatment on this Scout boot that comes wrapped with a 21oz and a buffalo leather wrapped vamp. Nicely done. The Veras Ontinyent Suede boots come in two colors: navy and khaki and will be available through their best accounts very soon. The leather laces are a nice touch on these espadrille and chukka inspired boots. Look for them in the Veras Spring 2012 line.

J. Crew’s calling these Quoddy Chukka boots a collectors item. The mix of Horween Chromexel and deerskin leathers is certainly intoxicating. J. Crew has placed the boot on a rubber camp-style sole. Exclusive to the retailer’s catalog and online store.

This was a common shoe choice during my stint in Catholic school. Why? I have no idea. I tended to go with the easy wear Eastlands. All the cool kids would have on a pair of suedes, unless of course your mom and dad were smart enough to know that any 12 year old in a pair of suede shoes was a sure sign of trouble. I moved onto Dr. Martens, which made me a bad plus. Paraboot’s French made Sanary shoe should work for most. CHCM has them.
