Beryll Vintage Asphalt Boots

beryll-asphalt-boots Beryll Vintage Asphalt Boots

Los Angeles based Beryll Studios offer some army boot inspired styles that are “distressed by hand from restored leather sourced from the 60s and 70s. Since each piece is unique, each boot includes a fingerprint signature of the artisan who handcrafted the boot.” Great works from this design studio. We hope to see more from them outside their sunglass and bag line. 580$US for those looking to get their hands on these. (acquire)

pierre-hardy-autumn-2009-boots-02 Pierre Hardy Autumn/Winter 2009 Boots

We all know the high tops are the reason people like Pierre Hardy, but their boots aren’t to be sniffed at either. These boots are the best out of their collection, with both suede and calf leather versions. The stacked crepe sole gives a more substantial look - they also add a few inches if you’re shorter than average.

Take a look at a few colourways and some comfy looking lining after the leap.

jil-sander-bucks Men.Style | Footwear Watch

We always feel like our brains get a little frazzled from too much information when the shows start, so it’s nice to see Men.Style breaking it down into manageable chunks of info. They started a little feature called ‘footwear watch’, where they, unsurprisingly, take a look at the footwear appearing on the catwalks.

Fans of bucks will glad to know that they’re way ahead of the fashion curve, as they made an appearance in Jil Sander’s SS10 collection. Burberry’s collection featured the Chelsea boot, a natural fit given the amount of time Christopher Bailey’s been spending in the company of bands lately.

Take a look at the Burberry boots after the jump and read the full Men.Style article here.

The Adam Kimmel Autumn/Winter 2009 Footwear has arrived in stores. No big experiments from the New York designer, but two very solid shoes for the colder season. He presents brown suede boots, with the silhouette being similar to the 6 inch Timberland boot. Furthermore he presents brown suede shoes with a wing top inspiration. Just like the rest of his collection, the footwear is casual, easy to wear, yet very high in quality.

The Adam Kimmel Autumn/Winter 2009 Footwear is now available at colette.

Detailed images follow after the jump.

Red Wing Iron Ranger Boots For J.Crew

red-wing-iron-ranger-for-jcrew-boots Red Wing Iron Ranger Boots For J.Crew

Just last week we visited the Red Wing Shoe factory (more on that soon) and today we can present you their latest exclusive style for J.Crew.The retailer found the Iron Ranger in a Red Wing ad from 1953 and asked the brand to bring it back for them. Once you have seen the premises in Red Wing and the production process, you do start appreciating and understanding the immense quality of the boot from Minnesota.

Just like with all J.Crew boots by Red Wing, these Iron Rangers also have a bit of a worn out look on their brown suede upper. In our opinion the best Red Wing so far for J.Crew, a true classic that still perfectly makes it into todays wardrobe. These are now available online here.

Russell Moccasin Munson’s Last Moc Chukka Boots

russell-moc-chukka-boots-00 Russell Moccasin Munsons Last Moc Chukka Boots

We cover a staggering amount of chukkas but that’s how the trend rolls right now. I guess we’ll keep covering them as long as the factories keep kicking out great looks for the masses to choose from. The latest from the Nepenthes online site in the form of this killer colorway from Russell Moccasin. “Dirty beige” as the writer next to me describes it. Be sure to check the photos after the jump for more colorways. This pair alone, gets my choice chukka award (if that was to exist).

Opening Ceremony Autumn/Winter 2009 Footwear

opening-ceremony-footwear-autumn-2009-01 Opening Ceremony Autumn/Winter 2009 Footwear

Opening Ceremony have been making shoes that veer on just the right side of fashion forward for years now and this AW09 collection pushes the boundaries in all the right ways. There’s suede in colours like pink and red, burgundy buckled boots (try saying that quickly) and even wool. Yes, wool. It’s like someone cut up an old carpet and decided to put it onto a shoe - but in a good way. It might not stand up well to the rain, but neither does suede and anyway, that’s what boots are for.

And, luckily enough, this collection has an enviable array of boots. Not quite an armada, but a formidable collection nonetheless. The thick soled Bison boots make a return and some new additions include the deerskin boot with the heathered grey sock lining and the aforementioned M11 burgundy buckled boots. There’s also a pair of tan suede high boots with a zip covering the laces, but they’re more of an acquired taste.

Take a look at the collection after the leap.

danner-gore-tex-light-boot Danner Light Boots

Erik Schedin does his best to carry some of the more interesting of products. Take for example the first set of items that came into his shop last year as part of the “Simple Things” series. In the latest go around, Schedin ads in a simple black hat, an Acme whistle, and these Japan on Danner Light Boots. The full grain leather boot is finished in tan with a men.style friendly black sole with Gore-tex lining.

Shofolk Magic Suede Boot

folk-magic-suede-boot-01 Shofolk Magic Suede Boot

Shofolk’s Armstrong shoes get a lot of blog love - most will have noticed the suede boots that were featured all over the internet last week - but their ‘magic’ boot is overlooked. The only problem with the ‘magic’ boots is that they’re more suited for early spring than the heat of summer but if the weather’s right, then these would make a great addition to your wardrobe. Get these from Coggles.

Take a look after the jump for detailed pictures.

Acne Boots for Autumn/Winter 2009

acne-boots-fall-winter-2009-05 Acne Boots for Autumn/Winter 2009

On the “heels” of our Acne shoe preview yesterday, we bring you some boots to look over this morning. The gum sole on the “Trance” models seem a bit bottom heavy for my tastes. The “Rocky” on the other hand brings a modern twist to the classic workbook. Again, the green finish is my favorite of the group.

Many more looks at the Acnes Boots for Autumn/Winter 2009 after the jump.
