One of the things that impressed us most of Bottega Veneta in recent years was the addition of their home collection, which is always a real pleasure for the eye. Now, with the colder months in sight, their new leather desk is a perfect addition to any study. The right size, fantastic leather details and timeless. Exactly our kind of furniture.
Some fantastic leather sneakers are coming once again this season from Italian brand Bottega Veneta. The brand is now celebrating a strong comeback since a couple of seasons and we don’t see that changing any time soon.
Last season we presented you their beige suede slip-on. It comes back this season in suede and leather, in overall three colorways. They added another high top sneaker in brown to the line-up and a low top suede sneaker, that comes in bordeaux. The entire line-up looks great, and it almost looks like prices went down a little. The slip-on used to go for over 600 USD if we are not mistaken and now all sneakers are priced between 530 USD and 600 USD, which is still a pretty steep price – but you can be sure that the quality is outstanding and hard to get anywhere else.

Western shirt fans may enjoy this Western Pocket Denim Shirt from Bottega Veneta. Outfit it with the matching orange stitched denim and you’ll be time warped back to the days of coal and cowboys while keeping the luxe on because, well, you’ll be wearing Veneta. Available now at Browns.

Italian born and Gucci owned, Bottega Veneta, has opened it online store to the US market. Its a pleasing move by them as it allows for a new consumer group to access their day to day goods.
Have no fear, fashion purists, Bottega Veneta is limiting the online store to their staple luggage, bags, shoes, and accessories at this time.
Its a changing global market for all things luxury.
Since we just talked about Bottega Veneta, here a really nice slip-on by the Italian leather goods company – the Dodger 2. It comes in beige and is entirely made out of premium suede, the softest leather that you can imagine. That coupled with a boat shoe sole makes the perfect summer shoe! They are now available in their online store for 480 USD.
We take a quick first look at the collections of our favorite designers. The Fall/Winter ‘08 shows are finished and already now you can see what you will be wearing in about 6 months time!
First up is Dsquared. The Canadian designer twins, living in Milan, continue to deliver sharp looks. When in the beginning the fleece line was interesting, we find that rather boring now, but their tailored collection has gotten really good! Sharp cuts and interesting twists also in the upcoming seasons!
Junya Watanabe presents interesting looks. English classics mixed with American classics and of course as usual very experiemental cuts!
Fantastic new Kris Van Aasche collection. We do not like what he did for the new Dior Homme line, but his own label is looking really good. The grey suite with the denim shirt works!
Above you see the fastest growing brand in the Gucci Group – Bottega Veneta. They have set new standards in quality, just unbelievable. The warm brown and beige colors of their collections are almost a signature for the brand and the mens collection is looking really good. If just the prices would look that good too?!
Comme des Garcons once again plays with the tartan patterns and as usual it works for them. The blazer with the pants is great, the shoes less!
Viktor & Rolf, the Dutch superstar designers, present as usual an interesting collection and of course the models wear hats. They also make nice casual clothes actually, what most people never get to see! On your next Milan trip, make sure to check out their store, its entirely upside down!
Number (N)ine has been a little disappointing the past couple of seasons. The Fall/Winter 2008 collection makes us hope again. More color, while keeping their style. Lots of leather and inspiration from the countryside.
Band Of Outsiders has become a favorite of ours. The young NYC brand has been very successful since its creation and continues to present strong collections. We look forward to the bright future of the brand!
Lanvin came back from the dead since they present a Pret-A-Porter collection. Unfortunately its still super hard to come by. Great suits, but also the cashmere and sneakers are a favorite.
And last but not least Rag & Bone. Once a small insider brand, they have become a major player. We still love their collections, which stay all in all very solid and also wearable.

Bottega Veneta is the fasted growing brand in the Gucci Group and right so. The way they brought this Italian classic back to life is impressive. The products are of outstanding quality, have their very own unique style, unfortunately also the according prices. Thomas Maier, head designer of the brand, has done a great job this past year.
Browns now has the collection on sale, and we came across this beautiful double breasted high neck short jacket. Very much inspired by the classic trench coat, it feature the belt in the back, as well as other attributes by this classic. At the same time it has a modern cut and a unique color. Just perfect!
So, if you want to snap it up at half price, you better hurry! Browns also has other pieces on sale, including some great home slippers and shirts
Bottega Veneta is the fastest growing brand in the Gucci group and that for a good reason. They are being innovative, while still relying on their history and artisanal qualities.
This season the brand has released a mid-top sneaker in their iconic woven design. For those of you that do not know this already, Bottega Veneta is the inventor of this woven style and brings it since many years in the form of womens leather bags. This mens sneaker comes in the smoothest woven leather and just looks great. The patent leather accents make a nice contrast. Unfortunately the price point also reflects that, it goes for 640 USD!
