A fun one from the Porsche Design group: this champagne/bottle cooler pays homage to the original ribbed cylinder on air-cooled 911 vehicles. The anodized bas features the Porsche crest laser cut. Keep your bottle chilled or air-cooled for the guests. They’ll be talking about this one. A fun one as seen on Notcot.

Absolut works once again with Swedish designers, Magnus Skogsberg and Mimmi Smart of Skogsberg&Smart on a bottle that takes inspiration from Savile Row. The hand-cut and engraved crystal bottle/decantur features pinstripe cuts similar to those found on suiting. I think some may see it as just stripes. Either way, the bottle is beautiful and limited to 800 which are signed and numbered by the designers. Expect to pay $1,500 for the Absolut bottle set that includes two matching crystal tumblers.

Fans of the bottle work by Missoni sparkling water will enjoy the special edition bottle by the House of Courrèges for Evian. The special bottle, celebrates 50 years of Courrèges, famous of putting women into miniskirts, which we all enjoy. The bottle is printed with organic ink and packaged in 100% recyclable materials – Evian’s first foray into environmentally friendly packaging. Available this November at select hotels and restaurants as well as online.

Every year for Christmas, French water maker Evian presents a collaboration bottle with an artist. Over the years the pieces have become real collectors pieces, at least in Europe. 

This year they worked with high fashion designer and Hermès Creative Director Jean Paul Gaultier. We are happy to see that they finally moved away from the mountain and drop designs that we have seen in recent years. The new bottle is elegant and of course nicely packaged.

Luxist reports in with news on a David LaChappelle cognac bottle for Remy Martin. “Photographer David LaChapelle’s distinctive va-va-voom style graces a new bottle of Remy Martin VSOP Cognac. The bottle LaChapelle created takes its inspiration from the Paris cabaret scene during the Jazz Age when Remy Martin first appeared in 1927. The design features a curvaceous woman dancing in a brightly-colored jungle. The bottle will sell for $50 and will be available at wine and spirits stores around the U.S starting in June. There will be 150,000 bottles produced.”
