Officine Panerai New Editions of Radiomir Watch Set

Officine Panerai loves their Radiomir watches. Since Stallone brought the iconic watch form to the USA (that’s at least the story), the Radiomir has grown in popularity beyond almost all. Today the Officine Panerai celebrated the them with 11 special edition Radiomir sets featuring three new watches in white gold, pink gold and platinum: the Radiomir 3 Days Platino, the Radiomir 3 Days Oro Bianco and Radiomir 3 Days Oro Rosa. Each comes in at 47mm. Big money balling on these. tip: tz

Brian Eno “Small Craft On A Milk Sea” Box Set

Selectism - Brian Eno "Small Craft On A Milk Sea" Box Set

When word arrived that Brian Eno would be releasing his latest works, “Small Craft On A Milk Sea” on the UK WARP label, smiles were seen throughout the music community. Eno’s placement on WARP was perhaps one of the more interesting moves in music of late – not only for integrity’s sake but for the benefit of listeners worldwide.

As usual, the proper collector’s box sets, complementing the CD release, are available for pre-order. We’ll stick with the most interesting of the two boxes (at least in this writer’s opinion): the “Limited Edition Box Set.” The
“limited edition” box comes not only with the typical CD and 180g heavyweight vinyl pressings of the album, but also with the nerd level extra of  24-bit WAV files (available for download on release date, November 3, 2010)

Fans of Eno’s art will appreciate the “High quality 12″ square lithographic print of new Brian Eno artwork, printed on 352gsm Mohawk Superfine stock, presented in full-colour, case-bound 12″ cover. Lined in crimson stock with tissue paper protection.”

The full package is around $100 and guaranteed to become an investment into both music and art.

Pet Shop Boys Vinyl Box Set by Farrow

pet shop boys box set by farrow 00 Pet Shop Boys Vinyl Box Set by Farrow

I’m a sucker for a bad ass box set especially when it houses some vinyl rekkids. Creative Review comes through with what is arguably the box set of year to date from the Pet Shop Boys. “A collaboration between Farrow and the Pet Shop Boys, and produced by The Vinyl Factory, this version of the album sees its eleven tracks split over eleven separate super-heavyweight 200-gram vinyl records with exclusive b-side instrumentals, each in a coloured sleeve, all housed in a smoked, handmade Perspex case.” 200gram vinyl is about as good as it gets and is usually reserved for the jazz reissues. We’re sure it plays a role in the 490$US price point. Limited to 300 sets. #banger

Arkitip Issue 44 Boxset – Magazine + 3D Viewer

04 February 2008, 17.03 | Posted in Art, Books & Magazines | No comments »

RTEmagicC arkitip issue44 1.jpg Arkitip Issue 44 Boxset Magazine + 3D Viewer

For the first time ever Arkitip handed the design responsibilities for the issue edition to an outside source. That source being the design trio Wood Wood. Their 44th issue edition also served as the working catalog for the HIGHMATH exhibition that took place last week at the Pool Gallery in Berlin.

Artists that participated in the exhibition were Andrew Schoultz, Chris Lindig, Ed Templeton, Evan Hecox, Cody Hudson, CR Stecyk III, Eric Elms, Gary Benzel, Geoff McFetridge, Jo Jackson, José Parlá, Josh Petherick, Kaws, Killpixie, Michael Leon, Kevin Lyons, Michael Perry, Parra, Phil Frost, Perks, Peter Beste, Peter Sutherland, Richard Colman, Ryan Waller, Shepard Fairey, Todd St. John & Steven Harrington. If you could not make it yet, the exhibition is still running, so go check it out.

For the occasion Arkitip did not only release their latest issue. It actually came in a box set, which consisted of the magazine and also a 3D Viewer with slides of all the artwork that was also presented at the exhibition. The box set is now on sale for 45 USD here.

After the jump more pictures.
