Browns drops a great collection of wallets as part of their mainline collection. Two of our favorites are the multi-colored takes in leather and lizard skin. Each credit card slip is hit with a color on the leather. Same holds true for the lizard skin version which is more feature rich with its scaly finish. Call this nylon gone right. After APC’s horrible nylon backpack (if you bought it for £10, you’d expect £9.99 back) we were a little reticent after we heard about Brown’s own line version. We traipsed down to the store, gave it the once over and we can officially say it’s pretty good. Pretty, pretty good. There seems to be a trend developing lately for mixing scarves with other items of clothing. The latest label to add to this trend are Ring, who’ve made a scarf with a turtle neck. Seeing as turtle necks have the tendency to make you look like a 70’s Bond villain, we can’t quite endorse this as a solid purchase, but it would be something you could pick up in the January sales. The new Raf By Raf Simons collection for Fall/Winter 2008 has arrived at Browns, one of our favorite shops in London. Part of the collection is a collaboration with Fred Perry. Basically Raf Simons took over the spot that Junya Watanabe was holding before, as it is an on-going collaboration between the two.

They also got in some new high-top sneakers in black and white. Nice premium leathers, no unnecessary details, just a solid winter sneaker. 

Bottega Veneta is the fasted growing brand in the Gucci Group and right so. The way they brought this Italian classic back to life is impressive. The products are of outstanding quality, have their very own unique style, unfortunately also the according prices. Thomas Maier, head designer of the brand, has done a great job this past year.

Browns now has the collection on sale, and we came across this beautiful double breasted high neck short jacket. Very much inspired by the classic trench coat, it feature the belt in the back, as well as other attributes by this classic. At the same time it has a modern cut and a unique color. Just perfect!
