A look at the full runway show from Burberry Prorsum for Autumn/Winter 2012.

This may be one of our favorite Prorsum collection in some time. Burberry Prorsum’s Autumn/Winter 2012 collection by Christopher Bailey delivers strong looks for the Burberry stable with colors that include greens, blue, and strong purples mix in well through velvet hits. For those that have not given Burberry Prorsum a proper walk through in the past, we would highly recommend spending some time examining their strongest collection in some time. Fans of classic suitings in herringbone and houndstooth wools, tweeds, and color-blocked quilted jackets, will begin checklisting many of the garments in this collection.

New looks from the Burberry Prorsum line with their pre-Spring 2012 collection. Skinny is clearly in the works for 2012 from Prorsum across trench coats, raglan sleeve wool sealed seam car coat, oversize shearling collar peacoat, and contrast quilt tailored jackets. Oversized topcoats and tailor-fit chesterfield’s round out the full collection. Again, expect the slim fit from this pre-spring offering.

Big respect to Burberry Prorsum for being the first to answer our prayers for a Cliff Huxtable inspired scarf. Yeah, biggie could rock those famous jumpers but we haven’t all earned the necessary rap don status to follow suit. A cotton, merino, cashmere mix, Made in Italy, it’s spirit straight out of an 80s Brooklyn brownstone. Find it at Mr Porter.

Burberry Prorsum delivers a leather tote bag that will make you second guess your last bag purchase. It seems incredible that the men’s accessories market refuses to slow down – and why should it? The new offerings continue to make it hotter than the women’s side of the business at the moment, through more than likely, not in sales. The orange-tan leather finishes this tote bag up nicely. Mr. Porter has it for $1795. Maybe you will not be doing that second guess…

Friday is loafer day… to some. Burberry delivers their “fringed” take on the tassel loafer over on Mr. Porter. They’re a clean brown leather, with black welt on a cream sole. The tassels are oversized and look rigid enough to take some wear. Truthfully, use your shoes and care for them as needed. They’ll last for ages or at least until the next trend comes rolling into your town.

Japan’s Mens Non-no shares these looks by photographer Mario Testino for Burberry Prorsum’s Autumn/Winter 2011 campaign. You get the idea from the looks. New takes on the classic are filled with boy/girl closeness. The Prorsum line is more fashion fitted than the normal in-line collection and may work better for you.

So these are….interesting. We like experiments as much as the next man but this one has ended up more frankenstein than intended. That said, we’d hate to be kicked by someone who had these on. (Luisaviaroma)

Now that we’re almost at the halfway mark for Summer 2011, let’s explore some colder season options. We know many of you loved those Balmain shearling coats. Burberry’s Prorsum line offers their own take on the incredibly warm jacket. We get a navy/green plaid on the exterior that sets it apart from full grain leather options. Mr. Porter has them.

Burberry is always up for surprise, especially when it comes to their Prorsum range. Today we take a first look at their upcoming Spring/Summer 2012 Collection.

Taking a distinct 60s direction in the design approach, the collection features lots of oversized work wear trench coats, oversized double breasted heritage trench coats, fishtail and storm parkas and a special range of knitwear. Patterns are not only placed on jackets and knitwear, but also on shirts and even the eye catching range of cork soled moccasins. Hand crafted natural wood toggles, weathered metal buttons and natural horn buttons make an appearance as well, only adding to the detailed range presented for next season. The color range is also very special, and is in line with the 60s look and inspiration.
