This may be one of our favorite Prorsum collection in some time. Burberry Prorsum’s Autumn/Winter 2012 collection by Christopher Bailey delivers strong looks for the Burberry stable with colors that include greens, blue, and strong purples mix in well through velvet hits. For those that have not given Burberry Prorsum a proper walk through in the past, we would highly recommend spending some time examining their strongest collection in some time. Fans of classic suitings in herringbone and houndstooth wools, tweeds, and color-blocked quilted jackets, will begin checklisting many of the garments in this collection.

Shot in London, the new Burberry campaign looks for Spring Summer 2012 reflect on the label’s history protecting people from the elements. Eddie Redmayne and Cara Delevingne model trench coats and parkas from various collections found under Burberry offering. More importantly, the photography gives a strong look at what to expect in the coming season.

Burberry’s Japan only Black Label continues to be all elusive and mysterious to those of us residing outside of Asia. This look at Autumn Winter reveals plenty of high quality casual wear aimed at a younger audience. The standard duffle appears in black wool, sheepskin and aran cardigan forms. Wide stripes, fur trimmed parkas and plenty of slim legged trousers, alongside crew necks of various hues. Nice and simple, more at EMM.

New looks from the Burberry Prorsum line with their pre-Spring 2012 collection. Skinny is clearly in the works for 2012 from Prorsum across trench coats, raglan sleeve wool sealed seam car coat, oversize shearling collar peacoat, and contrast quilt tailored jackets. Oversized topcoats and tailor-fit chesterfield’s round out the full collection. Again, expect the slim fit from this pre-spring offering.

Remember a few years ago when people weren’t sure what neckline they wanted on their jumper? We don’t blame you if you don’t, the crew neck won that fight so resoundingly you’d be forgiven for thinking it was the only option out there. As for us? While the weather is steaming hot around many parts of the world, Burberry unveils their Autumn 2011 campaign looks. The campaign shots feature British actors, models and musicians. As Christopher Bailey puts it, “”I was inspired by iconic British portraits and our own archive campaigns from the late 1960s of Jean Shrimpton using her trench coat to shelter herself from the poetic and romantic British weather.”
