It’s not gonna change the world but it looks good and your internet friends will say your ’steezy’ if you put it in a WAYWT post. And that’s all one could want from a jumper. (Tres Bien)

For whatever reason, the cream Aran knit is taking over the trendy side of East London at the moment (meaning that any bloggers across the pond will be going crazy over it next year when J. Crew do a suitable copy). The problem with the versions the ‘cool’ kids are wearing is that they’re usually poorly sized and well, a bit rubbish. So upgrade yourself with this Aquascutum cable knit*, which has all the advantages of the vintage aran knit – i.e it looks good – and none of that funky smell. You’ll probably do well to size up though, judging from how tight this looks. (My Wardrobe)

Thanks to the wonders of the internet (and the fact we write these posts a day in advance) we can say that one SL team member is wearing this jumper this very second. We’re always bleating on about this,but the lines between brands like Massey’s and the sort of brands stocked in a typical menswear store is slowly blurring. Let’s cut to the chase: this is a navy cable knit jumper and we don’t have much to say about it. It’s not that we don’t like it, it’s just that it’s hard to roll out the superlatives for a navy jumper, regardless of how nice it is. What we will say is that it’d go great with some coloured cords (Uniqlo have the best variety), it’s on sale at £65/$106 and it’s only available in XL. And that’s all there is to it. (ASOS)
