Cadence Reinforced Cycling Denim

Cadence Reinforced Cycling Denim

Now, as many know, some cyclists wear denim – at least most urban and commuter’s do. Problem is, denim is not really made to take impact of that saddle. I, myself, have mended more than one pair of jeans (even the Japanese denim) due to the crotch tearing. No fun. The good thing is a bunch of different brands make some reinforced cycling denim.

Cadence builds their pair from U.S. Cone denim with just a touch of lycra (2%) to give it some stretch. The crotch is reinforced (of course) and the back pockets are dual layered. The reflective back patch is a nice touch.

Cadence Sace Small Canvas Bag

Camheads using Ricoh and Samsung NV sized shooters! We may have found a solution to carry those most amazing of cameras who’s shape make it annoyingly difficult to put in your denim pocket. Cadence of Philadelphia, known for making a variety of fine cycling gear, also makes the “Sace” bag which may be the perfect solution. The oil based, water resistant, canvas bag comes fully lined in wool for soft protection for your camera (just be sure to keep the lens cap closed), and features velcro straps for attaching it to everything from your belt loops to you’re carryon. For those without need for a camera bag, it probably works fine for the phone and other small things.
