The designers at Cape Madras shows us their take on the “perfect summer attire” longsleeve shirt. The company believes that madras fabric is “the best warm weather fabric ever created.” The garment does have lots of history to it: the fabric gets its name from the “English name of the city of Chennai, India with their’Madrasi checks’.” Cape Madras’ shirt has a button-down collar and shirttail hem.
