(capsule) New York returns next week, January 16 and 17 with their first of many markets for 2012. One addition this year is their “Donut Shop,” which expands on the vintage offering of past shows to include vintage dealers Orange Crush, Heller’s Café, Wooden Sleepers, Kings County Salvage, and others. Terrapin will be on hand with a run of stationary as well.

(capsule) show will also take place in Berlin, January 19 and 20, and Paris, Januray 21 – 23.

Today still want to consider the bad taste and general naffness of the flash poppy upgrades that are increasingly popular. On the TV show I go to known as the X Factor (to style the presenter), flash poppies are everywhere. Luckily my style co-operative agrees with me that an egalitarian paper and plastique option is only appropriate one.” (Style & Error)

(capsule) returns this season Las Vegas with a wide array of men’s centric brands. Always worth a stop-in, (capsule) brands offer buyers a strong modern offering of men’s brands that step forward in the independent garment scene. Find (capsule) at the Venetian on August 22 and 23.

Not to be outdone by their Paris showing, Perfecto Brand by Schott introduced three new jackets during (capsule) NY. The highlight is the Twin Lakes poplin hooded mountian parka in orange, a 60% cotton 40% nylon shell piece with cotton plaid lining. Additionally, the brand unveiled the T-Bone Bedford Corduroy Asymmetrical Motorycle Jacket and the Woodloch Bedford Corduroy Duffle Coat. The T-Bone is a 100% cotton 9 ounce bedford corduroy in stone with chrome trim and cotton lining, cut with as a slim fitting of the classic Schott Perfecto silhouette. Made of 100% cotton bedford corduroy, the duffle comes in stone with hemp toggles, wood buttons and cowhide trim.

Kicking off tomorrow in Berlin (our spiritual homeland aka place where our offices are based) is Capsule Berlin. It’s their first time out in Germany and, obviously, is historical, monumental and all the other words that Don King would use in the run up to a prize fight. So, if you’re in town, be there or, ummmm, don’t.

And finishing off our Capsule roundup is one of our favourite new brands, One Nine Zero Six. Like most brands we really like, they’ve sidestepped the heritage thing, despite having the background to just remake some old rugby shirts and be done with it. Instead they’ve gone the way of jersey blazers and parkas, which is something we can appreciate. There’s also some rubber buttons we dare you to stop squeezing once you get your hands on them.

You all know the deal with Anderson’s right? Of course you do, it’s belts on belts on belts (confession: we’ve only heard a minute of that song and that was more than enough. We’ll still make clumsy references to it though). They’ve added some new treatments, including the one above in a washed canvas/leather combo.

As usual, the more buttons holds the key to treasures unknown.

Pour out a little liquor for us, it’s our last day of reporting on Capsule. We’re kicking off today with Soulland, who used Capsule to show off their various collabs and mainstays. The Adler hat made a return alongside some of his shoes in some new colourways – including a traffic stopping silver. Elsewhere there was a continuation of their House of Billiam collab and last but not least, their team up with Illesteva.
