After a small venue change, the premier independent mens fashion tradeshow, (capsule) show lands its racks inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on February 18 and 19. This is a first for the (capsule) show: it quickly branched out from it’s New York roots to includes shows in Paris and now Las Vegas.

Participating brands include for Las Vegas include, Buzz Rickson’s, Red Wing, YMC, Sugarcane, Warriors of Radness, and many more.

DNR reports in on the Adam Lippes capsule line for Mango.

“A year after opening its first U.S. store in New York, the Spanish fast-fashion retailer Mango has collaborated on limited-edition capsule lines with designer Adam Lippes. The American designer will produce two collections for both men and women for the spring/summer 2009 and autumn/winter 2009 seasons. The spring collection will arrive in stores March 15, and the autumn collection in early September.”

Announced a few months past, the new capsule collection by Lanvin for Acne is now being preview on the Acne Jeans site. For men, we are given three preview looks all of which share a similar palette and feel but the dress runs from casual to proper business attire.

Some big growth news from our very good friends at BPMW via DNR. "Slated to run Feb. 17 and 18 in a convention space in the Luxor hotel, the new Capsule show will be its third location, following its first Paris show this past summer and the original New York show that debuted in 2007. Capsule targets upscale, indie designers, premium brands and their boutique retail buyers. The show’s organizers, the BPMW showroom in New York, are aiming for 40 to 50 vendors for the kickoff Las Vegas show."

At (capsule) we took a close look today at Sweden’s Gram Shoes. The brand became popular not only because of good quality footwear, but also because of their innovative and smart labeling of product. Unlike other brands, Gram weighs all their product and names it according to weight in grams.

Here we give you an outlook at their Spring 2009 collection, which offers some interesting new styles and nice color-ups of existing styles.

With a very successful launch of their recent (capsule) Paris show as well as coverage in DNR mag for the minds behind it (BPMW), the show is taking aim and offering some opportunities for the non-retail and editors. We’re spreading the spirit of  independent creative design across the LES and we’re calling it the (capsule) Neighborhood Network—a series of events throughout the LES in some of our favorite shops."

Our market need a new tradeshow. Project was getting too big and not innovative enough anymore, thankfully the good people from BPMW took it on them and created Capsule tradeshow, with its first time showing last summer in NYC. They return this month and the line-up of brands is super strong- WoodWood, Ksubi, Cassette, Gourmet, Penfield, Staple, Won Hondred, Yoko Devereaux, The Cast, Krane and many others.
