First off, we’re not recommending this as a piece for everyday (or any day) wear. But it does looks very interesting, albeit in the ‘is fashion art?’ way as opposed to wearing it way. As the name suggests, they’ve been dipped in rubber to give them the melted effect you see above. We’re not sure whether these would hold up to daily wear but it does make for some great (and expensive) home decoration. (Farfetch)

Here’s some late addition looks for Spring 2011 – before we jam you with Autumn 2011 runway. We look a the the Carol Christian Poell offering. Some notes on the designer: “Born in Linz, Austria. As his stepfather was working in a clothes factory, he started to show interest in tailored at a young age. Learning about fashion in Graz, Austria, he used the knowledge then to move on to graduate the Fashion Costume University in Venice, Italy, with the degree about both men’s and women’s tailoring. Later on, he attends the Domus Academy in Milan, to gain further knowledge on designs in fashion.” (lift)

Carol Christian Poell’s Leather Jacket for Spring/Summer 2008 looks like it can resists any pounding. the cut is reminiscent of a tailored shirt with its sharp collar, but its short slim and above the belt cut looks more proper for off road moto-cross. Either way, you cannot go wrong with this jacket. But fashion don’t come cheap. This CCP jacket will set you back just shy of 3500 euros. Available now at Lazzari ITA.
