We’ve featured a few of those ‘off down the woods to collect logs and hang with deer’ gloves. The rough and tough variety that allow you to pretend to be hunter or competitive logger. Now we turn to something a little more refined.

Tailor Timothy Everest does a nice line in accessories, these gloves are our pick of the bunch. Hand made, hand stitched in England. Brown leather is trimmed with a bright yellow but behold the lining; purple Scottish cashmere no less. Too fancy for communing with wildlife.

We have strong feelings towards Donegal wool. We can’t hide it anymore. Perhaps it’s that flecked effect we cannot get enough of our maybe we enjoy the warm feeling you get inside knowing this wool has been spun by expert craftsman in picturesque County Donegal itself. SEH have taken this incredible yarn and made a simple, minimalist cardigan that lets the key ingredient do the talking.

The hidden placket leaves a neat flat front alongside two hip pockets, buttons via the West Midlands are a horn matte tortoiseshell and that 95% merino, 5% cashmere Irish mix is super soft. Find it over at SEH.

Berlin store Soto has launched first products from their in-house label, Le Berlinois, this week. Focussing on quality basics, the Le Berlinois Cashmere Collection consists of crewneck and v-neck sweaters, as well as beanies and scarves. Made of 100% Mongolian cashmere, all styles are offered in a series of colors, that will for sure get you through the cold winter. And we all know, that on cold winter days, nothing beats a nice cashmere set.

Cashmere socks might seem like an unnecessary luxury but that’s because they are. If you’re spending nearly as much on socks as the shoes you tie over them you should fully expect an unease to wash over you as you hand your credit card over at the till. The problem with cashmere socks is that if you’ve gone to the expense of purchasing a pair then you need to treat them right and, oh, yeah, there’s that unease again as you find yourself putting on a separate wash just for your ‘premium hoisery’. Yet, in all this we find ourselves drawn to this little bit of madness. Tabio use the finest cashmere, they tell us they remove it by hand with a comb during the spring moulting season. No shears for these guys. So, if somebody’s gone to the trouble of combing goats it seems rude, churlish even, to not buy a pair. Only as a mark of respect you understand.

Here’s another entry into the duffle coat sweepstakes. Paul Smith is certified SL favourite, and coats like this are a reason why. It’s a nice cropped length and the navy colour lends itself for some eye catching colour combinations. The fact that it’s cashmere is something that Liberty have left out, but it goes a long way way to justifying the £620 price tag. (Liberty)

It’s time for an upgrade. We believe that every guy should have at least two cashmere jumpers in his wardrobe. You’ll appreciate it, your girlfriend/boyfriend will appreciate it – everybody wins. French knitwear label, Lucien Pellat-Finet, is pulling the bespoke outta ya with their latest endeavor, the custom cashmere blanket. As Vogue UK reports,

“We personalise the blankets with an image that is dear to you and will last forever,” the label’s eponymous founder tells us. “Each special blanket will be completely unique, while retaining the luxury and quality of Lucien Pellat-Finet.”

Starting at around 1260$US, the bespoke blankets from Lucien Pellat-Finet is sure to be a hit with those that cannot stand using photo albums.

Now it’s coming up to Christmas, pre-sales are starting to pop up everywhere. Farfetch.com are the latest site to get in on this, featuring items at 25% off, like this Balenciaga cashmere sweater. Given that it’s Balenciaga, the discount doesn’t move the piece to H&M prices, but there’s still a saving to be made. Get it from Farfetch.
