Mr. Lacroix, or as ‘crush on you’ era Lil’ Kim calls him ‘Christian Lacross’, has teamed up with Kronenbourg 1664 for this exclusive set of designed beer bottles, pint glasses, trays, bowls and coasters. It’ll launch in June, coming in the form of two limited edition box sets. We’re not really sure why you’d want a Kronenbourg bowl – even one designed by Mr Lacroix – but come June, you’ll be able to get your mitts on one. (Vodka & Co)

WSJ’s Max Colchester digs into the world of the “couture crash” at Christian Lacroix with some analysis of what happened on the inside. “The possible demise of the Christian Lacroix label shows how there is no middle ground in haute couture. Labels struggle to survive except as part of large, multiproduct fashion corporations with deep pockets and a global marketing machine — or as niche players with low overheads and a cult following.” A must read.
