Germany’s Junghans works a special configuration for their Chronoscope automatic for Bench & Loom. The chronoscope “is named for its famous designer, the Bauhaus-educated Swissman Max Bill who was renowned for his perfection of proportions.” Its a big one at 43mm on the stainless steel casing. IWC unveiled their latest chronograph, Ingenieur Double Chronograph Titanium. The “rattrapante” chronograph, also know as a split-seconds chrono, allows for the owner to measure two events simultaneously. The titanium case is lightweight and measures in at 45mm. The screws are coated in black DLC while the pushers and crown are covered in black rubber. Coming soon… (pw)

Hermès is set to drop a thick collection of Clipper watches onto the market. Timezone has a first look at the 44mm “mechanical” chronograph model. “For 2010, the Hermès Clipper collection adds the Clipper 44 mm Mechanical Chronograph, with a 44mm case in titanium. Inside the case, a mechanical self-winding Valjoux 7750 chronograph movement, a marvel of reliability and precision, gives rhythm to time and, for an instant, suspends its flight.” Four other models – 26mm and 28 quartz, 36mm chrono, and a 39.5mm automatic will also be available in shortly.

Classic face timepieces tend to go without love here, but since we’re fighting the rose gold battle, we figured this Raymond Weil Freelancer Gold Chronograph should receive some attention. Again, it’s a timeless look. As Timezone tells us, “The case, in 18kt brushed and polished rose gold, measures 42mm. The crystal is an AR-coated sapphire as is the display back.
