We cover a staggering amount of chukkas but that’s how the trend rolls right now. I guess we’ll keep covering them as long as the factories keep kicking out great looks for the masses to choose from. The latest from the Nepenthes online site in the form of this killer colorway from Russell Moccasin. “Dirty beige” as the writer next to me describes it. Be sure to check the photos after the jump for more colorways. This pair alone, gets my choice chukka award (if that was to exist).

I need to get my hands on this unlined chukka boots from Alden. The ability to rock them in the summer without socks is about as good as it gets for me. Slip them on and off as you need. “This shoe was built on the Leydon last with a single flexible oiled leather out-sole. This shoe is fully leather lined and can be worn easily with no socks. The profile on this chukka from Gaimo Lina is a boxy one. The Spainish made shoe uses a sewn on sole made from jute – one of nature’s cheapest natural fibers according to Wikipedia. But that should not stop you from hitting up your proxy or hunting ‘em down domestic style. (zozo)

Oh yeah. Another chukka hits the streets. This time in the form of a J. Crew Sperry Top-siders Chukka boot. Good old brown nubuck leather on this piece. J. Crew sprinkles their own famous cotton chambray into the interior making it all their own. Get it now from J. Crew online.

Check this 7-eyelet chukka from Timberland Japan. It’s tonal leather finish uses suede to accentuate the dark browns for a fantastic finish. Outfit coordination should not be an issue with these though finding them outside Japan may be problematic. Available at Zozo.

Those among you that are into boat shoes, Sperry Topsider also offers some nice styles for the colder months of the year. Our favorite style is the Chukka, which is basically a mid version of the classic boat shoe.

Our favorite color is the brown pony hair/suede version of the shoe, but the beige and black suede versions also look really nice. All three are now available at For The Greater Good.

We came across a nice new Undercover sneaker, similar in style to the Vans Chukka. It comes in three colorways and features a pattern over the upper with a suede heel. Overall a fresh looking shoe for Spring/Summer this year. Via Hypebeast/Kero.

Seattle based Maiden Noir got together with Japanese shoe brand Cause to work on a sneaker. So far there are no release details on the sneaker, but expect these to drop some time this Spring/Summer 2008 season. A great east meets west collaboration. Via Complex.

Once again Neighborhood and Supreme join forces and announced today their next capsule collection to be released soon.

It’s not the first time these two brands get together, but it is for sure the largest offering we have seen in a collaboration effort to date. The Neighborhood x Supreme collection consists of New Era Caps, denim, hoodies, Stadium Jackets, M-65 Jacket, logo t-shirts, Larry Clark t-shirt and a Vans collaboration as well, which consists of a Chukka and a Sk8-Hi.

What can we say? It looks good. Nothing too crazy, mostly subtle and on point. It will be released on December 28th in the Supreme NY and LA stores. The Japanese stores will get some part of it already on December 15th, the rest on January 2nd. You do not have to be a genius to know that this collection will fly out of the stores. So, if you intend to go, make sure you are there early.
