Italy’s Volta Footwear is showing at Bread & Butter Berlin this week. They debut a new line of canvas based shoes available in a variety of colors and silhouettes. Our HS editor is awfully fond of the white colored models which have a slightly “distressed” look due to the canvas material (seen above). Well done.

New York’s own, MOSCOT releases their latest collection. The MOSCOT Titanium series take their famous original styles like the Nebb, Lemtosh, and Miltzen and gives them the metallic treatment. The super lightweight frames marry old school and timeless styles with modern metals for a modern finish. The translation works and should appeal to a wide range of eyeglass wearers who may be ready for a break from the plastic frame establishment.

ACL previews the Isetan Store Spring 2009 Catalog with great looks from a variety of designers that speak “American Trad.” “The Isetan in Shinjuku is one of the most impressive stores in the world, a labyrinth of materialistic pursuits. In fact, the men’s shoe section nearly made me cry. These clothes below might not be identified or available for purchase to most of us, but I thought they are great from a styling / photography perspective.”

Suzy Menkes also hit up Thom Browne and Moncler CEO Remo Ruffini. The presentation of the new Thom Browne designed Moncler Gamme Bleu line just recently took place in Milan on fake snow. The video certainly shows much better all aspects of this very interesting new collaboration.

It is not difficult to pinpoint Rick Owens fashion in the open world. in a recent interview, Mr. Owens was asked what influence he kept coming back to. “It’s always back to Bauhaus – the design school and the band. Opera, toujours opera….oh, and Kiss. Recently, autumn/winter was inspired by joyful and playful transgression. Spring was more about restraint, discipline and sacrifice.”

Honeyee has the news on Rock Steady’s Soul Rebel Works accessories collection, which features everything from book covers to tote bags. The leather book cover is the focus point for this collection and the leather is designed to age naturally with increased use. The items are available from Honeyee and unless you know Japanese/have a proxy, ordering from the site will be quite a task.

Resteröds are a Swedish brand who were first created back in 1935. Their circular knitting machines – which are still used to this day - are known for producing high quality garments, due to the unique way the machines knit the garments. Today the brand focuses on sharp tailoring as well as more casual items, such as hooded and leather jackets. See the rest of the collection after the jump.

Hysteric Glamour was created by designer Nobuhiko Kitamura in the mid eighties. The label started as a women’s brand and eventually branched out into menswear. Sub-label ‘Thee Hysteric XXX’ was set up as a men’s only side and has taken inspiration from the entire spectrum of Rock music in the 1970’s, including Punk rock, mods and dandies. The line features collaborations with the Stooges, who lend pictures and writing to t-shirts and oxford shirts. The first batch of this line was featured a couple of months back on Hypebeast and we have the remainder of the collection after the jump.

We featured Tillman Lauterbach’s A/W 08 collection a while ago and his spring 09 collection recently fell into our laps. The omnipresent feature of this collection is the colour purple. Not just any old purple, but a purple in a specific shade that gives it a much more masculine, mature look than other shades of purple available right now. According to their website, Les Hommes Spring/Summer 2009 collection was inspired by trips to the Far East and Quentin Tarantino movies. For a SS09 collection, it’s surprisingly monochrome, with most colour coming from the accessories. The quirks include piping, blurred check patterns and splashes of colour.
