The trend for confusing label names has been popular for a while now, but Yohji Yamamoto’s Coming Soon must be top of the list. It’s near impossible to even say the name without people assuming you’re referring to his upcoming SS09 collection or a Y-3 item that isn’t out yet. That aside, this youthful offshoot is vintage Yamamoto, offering inventive interpretations of classic pieces. This blazer is a perfect example of this, adding just enough of a quirk to turn it into an original garment. You can get it from the Corner.
