Only a few months ago we were moaning about not being able to find any trousers/chinos with patterned lining – now we can’t swing a cat without hitting a pair. While there’s been a number of high street versions, we reckon this is the sort of style you’re gonna want to spend a little money on; if you’re planning on wearing something everyday, you need it to hold up to a little wear and tear. Give it to Dazed for getting the description right on the latest project from CdG’s Rei Kawakubo and Dover Street Market. “Only Comme des Garçons has the guts to fill a shop floor with beautiful products that no one are allowed to buy, just gaze admiringly at. But what a brilliant idea though. How often are you ashamed of just walking around a shop, knowing that a shop assistant is staring you in the neck, upset to that you are ‘just browsing’. Well, now you don’t have a choice. You’re not allowed to buy, just look.” I have heard many people mention this is how they feel when they walk into DSM, no?

Yeah, you’ve seen it before, but it’s on sale now so we’re reloading it. The AW09 CDG shirt collection was one of the most coveted yet (we don’t know one place that still has that duffle coat) and this jumper is just one great piece from a standout collection. If we had to pick a beef with this piece, it’d be the frayed ends; they’re not a dealbreaker, but it’d take some adjusting to. The price is now a relatively cheap (compared to the starting price of £350) £184. (ASOS)

We’ve been on the look out for some good trousers to combat our denim fatigue and a few points have cropped up. Firstly, it’s surprisingly hard to find good trousers that either too tight or too big. Secondly, it’s even harder to find a good pair of trousers that are winter weight.

These CDG shirt trousers tick both points on our (admittedly extremely brief) shortlist by being a great pair of winter weight trousers. At £260, these aren’t cheap – but you should expect no less from CDG. (ASOS)

How could we not fill our CdG quota for the month with their The Beatles Collection. I wish I could have been inside Apple Corp. offices when this deal went through (almost as cool as having been in the Henson offices when Supreme came calling). Well, the collection’s standouts to most are the bags and button down shirt, but this is rock music, so I’ll go for the t-shirts. Priced on some next level plane of 115$US per t-shirt – hey, it’s CdG. (dsm)
