We present you another special Christmas item from Comme Des Garcons. They got together with Pringle from Scotland, known for their outstanding knitwear, and worked on a cardigan. Coming with a classic diamond pattern, they added the British flag in Swarovski stone on the chest.

One of the hottest Scandinavian start-ups teams up with Japan’s fames Comme des Garcons on a collection of goods for the Holidays. Arne & Carlos has worked with CdG to pull traditional values in Norwegian knitwear over to their line. Seasonally proper as well as Android approved, the line includes scarves, knit sweaters, hats, and an excellent knit satchel.  Do expect for the hardcore video nards to jump on this Asteroids inspired look as well. Now we’ve all seen the full Comme des Garçons for H&M collection, we can now read Rei Kawakubo tell us herself why she did this collection. The Independent has an article chronicling the collection and has a couple of quotes from Kawakubo herself. When asked why she’d do this collaboration she answered, “I was interested in selling Comme des Garçons in a new place where it has never been sold before and to people who may never have heard of it. Usually, Comme des Garçons only sells in places where people who understand it go”.

Showing from October 12 through November 22 at Dover Street Market in London, comes their latest construct with Comme des Garcon. “Through the medium of specially constructed rooms on each of the six floors of Dover Street Market, nearly 40 years of strong creative vision is displayed… Rei Kawakubo has never only designed clothes, she designs the company called Comme des Garçons. This company has therefore never wavered in its quest to express its core values of creation by whatever means it can…Designing clothes is one way, creating interiors for shops and spaces is another. Designing and producing printed matter is another very important way of expressing the values of Comme des Garçons. We hope to see you here soon.”

Comme des Garcons has a nice range of hunting caps in their Autumn/Winter 2008 collection. Mixing different plaid colors and patterns gives the caps a distinct look and sets them apart from your usual Kangol. Also it makes matching a lot easier, as they match everything (or nothing, however you want to look at it!).

After giving you a look recently at the upcoming H&M x Comme Des Garcons collection, we show you today a couple of the accessories that will be released as part of the collaboration. To no surprise they are presenting a perfume and a zip wallet, both staple items in the regular Comme Des Garcons range. Matching many pieces in the line, the wallet features a polka dot all-over pattern. The scent comes with the collaborative branding and minimal packaging. Hopefully it has been produced by Comme Des Garcons – in that case hopes for a good product can be high.

Slated for release in Japan in early November with global distribution to H&M outlets worldwide on November 13th, the Commes des Garcons Collection for H&M may be one of the most anticipated arrivals of the late Fall. For the second season already, S.N.S. Herning has produced a series of knitted pieces for Comme Des Garcons. Last season we something a little more extreme – they used neon colors on their classic naval knits. This season is more classic and they used a navy/yellow colorway on all pieces.

As though we needed another Comme des Garcons filing for the day, Nomad of Toronto has received stock of CDG’s Forever Shirt line. The name "Fovever" looks to signify the look of the button downs that are sublte and traditional. Nothing over ornate on these. In fact, they’re looks that will last (and have) for some time.

The Comme des Garcons Perfume for milliner Stephen Jones was created by Antoine Maisondieu of Givaudan. The scent has notes of "clove, carnation, rose, jasmine, heliotrope, gaiac wood, magma, black cumin, vetiver and amber." The bottle is inspired by the classic inkwells of centuries past.
