Complex Geometries has been on the Selectism radar for some time. Today, Fashionisto gives their take on the CG Autumn 2010 collection. “Evoking ceremonial imagery, Complex Geometries embarks on a journey for the fall 2010 season in search of truth. A mix of loose concealing silhouettes and revealing fabrics, the latest outing plays tongue in cheek with a dark sensibility. From hooded jackets and knit leggings to elongated sheer numbers, Complex Geometries continues a focused vision, while offering a selection of individual pieces that possess enough character to shake up any wardrobe this coming fall.”

Ok. So the above the knee is not working for you. Sure doesn’t work for me neither but I think we can all get away with the second tier length shorts from Complex Geometries. “hese long shorts are a unique balance between techy and organic. Made from a coated rayon/linen blend which has waxy/rubbery finish and look. The top half shows the coated side out and the bottom half is the opposite, giving the two panels a contrast in texture while staying tonal.” I think this is the one. (blackbird)

Complex Geometries

Complex Geometries designs clothing with unisex looks on the mind. As Fashionisto mentions, “Each season, Complex Geometries manages to introduce pieces with unique cuts and drapes.  Designer Clayton Evans gets his inspiration from various sources.  Exploring a multitude of sources often takes Evans on a varied path.” Though their Fall 2008 collection, entitled, Sex of the Ancients, does put a division among genders, one could argue that the looks still remain in that neutral territory.
